Astray
About
Astray is a first-person horror/puzzle game set in an abandoned museum based on unusual cultures, legends, and supernatural themes; but something more sinister lurks beneath the surface..
Playing as the nephew of the museum’s missing curator, you must survive as you make your way through the abandoned building, interacting with objects, and completing puzzles along your way to unravelling the mystery of what lies beneath the museum.
More Story
The game takes place in 1909 inside Prof. Walker's Museum of the Supernatural, an in-development museum based on supernatural themes and unusual cultures. Rupert Walker, the museum's curator, spends most of his time locked away in his museum preparing for the grand opening. Recently, the professor has acquired a mysterious artefact for display in his exhibits, an artefact which he has obsessed over since it came into his possession. Rupert's family is accustomed to his odd behaviour, but an unusually long period of silence from your uncle has prompted you to investigate on the family's behalf. You arrive on foot to an old building in the middle of rural central England. The building is in disrepair, artefacts and props are strewn around the exterior. The doors are boarded up and there is no sign of life inside the museum. You must find a way inside the old building so that you may locate your uncle, and uncover the mystery of the strange artefact.

Top Atmosphere, beautiful Graphics and wonderful Performance.
Very nice Museum Setting, and the Game is often reminiscent of Amnesia, but doesn't seem like a Copy:)
For Horror Fans very nice!

Although the Design of the Game is creative and quite nice, the Puzzles are not very demanding and the Horror Portion is more of a thing for the Elementary school. It Quickly to "look at where the Monster is, I'll wait until it's passed" and get rather annoying.

Nice horror game for In Between.
Graphic is fine for an indie title, even if it would have tolerated a little "Fine-tuning" at one point or another.
However, this does not affect the good Atmosphere at all and for Friends of the puzzle and Horror Fun You can highly recommend the Game.

The Game I found coherent in itself and it definitely had its "Jumpscares." In the Graphic, however, you can't expect a Spectacle, as it's a cheap Indie title. For me, a successful Title worth its Money! :-)
Have also packed a Playthrough on Youtube. Can you take a look At the minute!

Little horror puzzle Game. I really like the Atmosphere in the Game.
Reminds Me a little of a Lovecraft short story.
The Game is Similar to Amnesia: A machine for Pigs. You have to work your way into the Intestines of a Museum where you solve one or the other Puzzle. You have to dodge or escape a few Opponents from time to time.
Is not a Shocker like Outlast, but rather a Horror Adventure. The Story is told about Lyrics you can find everywhere.
While everything is in English, if you master this, it's not a Problem, as the Lyrics are kept very simple. For ne Round to gruse in between, it's quite good. 7/10

Astray has a beautiful Graphics, runs fluidly and the Atmosphere can be calmly described as successful, but that's what's already. Some Spots are simply illogical, unfair and frustrating and take the Fun Quite quickly. I sorely missed The Term Horror in the Game. Except for a few Zombies (?) times there and sometimes there are no creepy Monsters in the Game. Tension looks different ... The Ideas and Puzzles are actually not so bad, but the Game has something in itself that just annoys and doesn't really encourage you to Play Through. In the End, though, I was "tormented" ...
Language in the Game is other English. Hardware Requirements also create good from older PCs. Control is limited to the most Important thing. The Story is so ... Well ... nice, but nothing World-moving ...
Unfortunately, can't specify a Neutral as a Rating, hence the negative ...
