Balloon Lament (Prototype)

Balloon Lament

A child loses their balloon.

In the pursuit of the balloon,

The child hops onto the family hot air balloon.

The sky is full of dangerous animals and aliens

And the child must retrieve the balloon

unharmed.

This is the first project where I am working in as a team. The team consists of shiromune, alpha1532, wizkybisnu and waynemaynard.

This game is a spiritual successor of Downwell, a vertical side-scroller. We haven't been able to implement the side-scrolling mechanics as of yet, however in this minimal viable project, we have implemented basic shooting, movement, destroying and health.

Controls

Side Movement: A and D or left and right arrow keys

Descending: S or down arrow key

Shooting: spacebar
