Bazookants

Bazookants is an online game where multiple players can duke it out over a local area network! Fire rockets at other ants to deal damage, dodge other players' projectiles by using a grapple hook to zoom across the level, and be the last player standing to win the round.

Online Play

Bazookants supports local area multiplayer, meaning all players need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi (or wired) network to play the game. (If you're all playing in the same location, you can play together)

Controls

• WASD / Arrow Keys: Move
• Mouse: Look around
• Left Click: Shoot (only once per jump)
• Right Click: Grapple Hook (hold)

Troubleshooting

Online play not working

Windows: If the online play is not working, ensure you have permitted the game to access private networks. Go to Control Panel > Windows Defender Firewall, and click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall". Then on the list of apps, scroll down to bazookants.exe and tick the "Private" checkbox.

'Host game' button not working

If you're unable to host a game, this means there is an error with the network that is preventing a multiplayer instance from being created. Please check you aren't running any other instances of the game on your computer.

Can't find another player's lobby

If you can't find the lobby you are looking for in the server browser, you can use the Direct Connect feature to connect to the IP Address of the game you are wanting to join. Just type in the IP Address that appears on the host's computer to connect to their game.
