Beat Bash (Overlook Studios)

Welcome to BEAT BASH!

Prepare yourself for the endless onslaught of enemies and use your wit, speed, and brute force to bash each to the beat of the song.

At the start of your adventure you'll be thrust into a 16 beat loop divided into 3 phases: Draw, Prepare and Action

• Draw: Cards (runes) are added to your hand at random
• Prepare: Slot your cards in the action spaces strategically
• Action: Combat takes place and your slotted runes are pit against the enemy's 

How to Play:

Choose your runes effectively to kill your enemies before they kill you!

• There are 3 categories of runes you can place each with their own values and features:
  • Attack (physical or spell)
  • Shield (physical or spell)
  • Special (stun, heal, or additional draw)
• Be careful as only physical shields can block physical attacks, and only spell shields can block spell attacks!

• New runes will be drawn at the start of each loop
• Drag and drop the runes from your hand to one of the four action slots for to lock it in for the next action phase (note: runes can be placed and locked in at any time!)
• Once you place a rune, you can only sub in new runes to the same action slot, obliterating the existing rune.
• Don't like a particular rune in your hand? Throw it in the trash!

Between battles you'll get a brief chance to check out the shop where you can buy newer and more powerful runes to add to your 'deck' with money earned from your victories. For a small fee you can also choose to refill your health! Think quickly and spend wisely though, as time spent at the shop is limited!

Check out your progress at the top of the screen and brace yourself for the boss fight at the end of the loop.
