About

Beyond Divinity is a role-playing game with hack-and-slash features, a second installment in the series. The game is set in a fictional world 20 years after its predecessor, following new story, new possibilities and new threats for the world.

The game’s main character, a paladin in servitude to the Divine, is forced to be joined with a death knight, his ideological nemesis. The main story is focused around their unwanted bond, and the game employs various mechanics regarding the control of two characters. Role-playing elements will allow the players to create a unique path for deuteragonists, and to find different ways to defeat their enemies. The game features lots of dialogue filled with witty humor, reflecting on the situation that our characters are in.

Despite game’s premise of a simple hack-and-slash adventure RPG, the problematic caverns and long dungeons will provide a great sense of challenge even to the veterans of the genre, as the game punishes every mistake that the player makes. However, considering the astonishing soundtrack and overall setting of the game, the difficulties can be set aside, as the game will allow the players to immerse in the journey truly.

Beyond Divinity reviews and comments

The Game is average, a lot of things were boring and tiring, but on the storyline all the parts of the Divinity are connected, although it is impossible to say exactly how not to play in the Divinity Dragon Commander, maybe it's a story line at least a little overlap with the first and second series. If you like Divine Divinity can play in this series, but do not expect anything special game in many respects the first part.

The Most underrated part of the series, despite the fact that it was made by a passable. Serious miscalculation in the gameplay (sometimes very boring) leveled by the stunning Darkovo-ironic atmosphere, stunning visuals, especially in the beginning, ingenious music by Kirill Pokrovskiy and dialogues. Characters at altitude. It is a Pity that the history of the confrontation between the Chosen and the Damned is so crumpled ended on Flames Of Vengeance.

Beyond Divinity has demonstrated to all thoughtful and huge world, has made it colorful creatures, provided a merry passage and life in it, and just allowed to engage in interesting pastime. Only the presence of a significant number of flaws and errors has put a barrier Beyond Divinity in obtaining the title of "Excellent game training." But, I think, no bugs will not interfere with the real gamer-rolevku sit down and once again run the disc with your favorite game. After All, there is always the opportunity to know what is there, behind the turn, which the previous time missed. Or just go through the game instead of the "dumb Fighter" by two magicians, getting unheard of pleasure from the previously untested style. Good luck to you and cheerful life in the worlds of Nemesis and Rivellon.

The Plot is interesting, humor branded, the universe original. Almost like an old kind Divine Divinity. Why almost? Because There are a number of disadvantages that do not allow me to recommend this game. First, the control of several characters is very inconvenient (although you can accept it, as some puzzles are solved only by the interaction of two characters). And in general, the control is controversial, especially when you try to click to move, instead you press on a harmless animal, causing a trigger attack, and agrish the whole forest. Second, the local pumping system is disgusting-who could invent such a miserable system of skills? Why is there a branch of skills here for every type of boom? Why do you have useless skills like "Pretend to be Dead"? Thirdly, there are a lot of bugs in the game. Part of quests in principle impossible to perform (especially in the Arena, when the task was received, come in place, and the enemy did not respawn). One of the quests, even after the execution remained hanging in the job log. Some NPC (however, as well as enemies) fail in textures. I could not even finish it, already at the end of the game was just flying out. Had a final fight and a screensaver to look at Youtube.
When I finished Divine Divinity I wanted to take a look at this game so I bought it on one of those sales and was quite disappointed. The voice acting was terrible, I didn’t like that I had to control two characters and the game doesn’t explain much as how to control them and how to, well, play it. Totally thumbs down for me.
