About

The game is an improved version of the game Bionic Commando, previously released for the platform Nintendo.

Two states, the Federation and the Empire, compete with each other. One of the trump cards in this game is the project "Albatross", which at first is known only that this superweapon. The Federation suspects that the Empire is working on this project and will soon finish it. The Federation sends a national hero named Super Joe to disrupt the plan. But Super Joe fails the mission and becomes a prisoner. The detachment led by Nathan Spencer goes to help Joe. Nathan is more fortunate, he gradually learns about the project "Albatross" more and more - in the end it turns out that the goal of the project was the resurrection of Adolf Hitler. Moreover, the project is completed and Hitler has already come to life. Nathan will have to destroy Hitler again.

The gameplay consists of moving the hero through the levels and destroying the enemies. Nathan has a bionic hand - it adds novelty and variety to the game. Nathan with this hand can move through the levels to get to the bosses and transitions to the next level, and to gain access to bonuses. On the other hand, because the hand is very heavy, the hero can not jump. The theme of bionic devices is the basis of puzzles, which are also present in the game.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed reviews and comments

I bought habs, I played habs, I want to evaluate, but first I left other Reviews and had to stand with horrifies ... Am I surrounded here by Fanboys? The best thing about the whole Game is the Startup Logo at the Beginning, because that looks really cool! The Game itself tells its Story in such Text displays with an Avatar Next to it. And the Gameplay ... Now a Platformer peppered with Top Down elements. You can't jump, but you have this huge Arm Prosthesis that you can ball through the Area to pull yourself somewhere and up. .. I say again .. You can't jump ... This is a poorly controllable Arm. The Game is a Remake, otherwise I can't explain the Fanboy Reactions to myself either, but for Newbies .. Buy Bionic Commando! This is 3D and plays like Spider-Man! This is a bad Joke.

They took the Word "bionic" a little too closely. 70% is only moved through the Gripping Farm, because the Character cannot jump. Thus, he himself has to pass over Barrels that sometimes stand around (provided there is a Platform to grab). Ananderingly, you shoot your Arm and have to throw the Part away unnecessarily again so that you can keep running. Since the Character can't jump over Obstacles, you move up for the Biggest Part. Ah yes, roll, slide or crawl, the Character can't either. So hack back some and run yourself. So Should the Hero ever lose his Arm, he will never be able to climb stairs again. I don't know the Predecessor (maybe I would have enjoyed the Game more If I liked the Predecessor), I can't quite recommend it here.

-We already start with a PC optimisation absolutely null, it's simple the game crash direct at startup because of this crap of PhysX, one is obliged to look for compatible drivers on the net to get to make it work (OK with with the 9.13.1220 on a AMD card...) the one installed with the game is not good...! Short... otherwise graphically nice and modern, the soundtrack is excellent! Good arcade ideas to regain lives & we're going to need it!! Since at the level of maneuverability it is totally excecrable, it was perhaps excusable at the time of the original game (NES) but remake the game by taking back the same big faults of handling of the time!??? The perso does not cling half of the time as we want with the same manip as before... the grapple works at pixels near by time. It has no inertia & a the fascist habit of falling like a lead or bouncing in every way as soon as one is touched (& the it is the drama...!) For challenges levels etc... It's nice at first but by force to weigh against the perfect pixel handling, we leave them quickly... So fortunately the levels are pretty short & fun because at the speed where the few lives fall... Fun at first but it quickly becomes a purge... I think I'm going to redo the excellent old Rick dangerous 1 & 2, at least those despite their great ages, their hardships and sadistic traps, they had much better maneuverability for the time!
