Blood empire

Blood Empire is a submission for the Vampire Themed Jam 2021. 
All sprites and backgrounds were made by myself using Aseprite and created during the Jam period.
The game was built using Unreal Engine 4.

Take the role of Detective Jason Corr. he has been assigned a case to discover the murder at a local bar. But as his case develops, he will realise a blood cult of vampires called the Blood Empire are running this city. Can he stop them? Will he join them? Or will he just run away. That is up to you in this choice driven 2D adventure.

This is an early prototype and missing a few key gameplay features, such as combat, which will be included in the next update. I really enjoyed making this and am looking forward to completing level 1 by Christmas and then have a 6 month plan to release a full 3-5 hour game
