Bound by Flame
About
In this RPG where all your choices lead to consequences, you will have to choose between unleashing the powers of the beast within and rejecting the demonic influence that wants to claim your humanity.
Freely develop your abilities and combat style through three skill trees: swing the heavy weapons of the Fighter, wield the sneaky dual daggers of the Ranger, or use the devastating flame spells of the Pyromancer.
Recruit companions who will live, love, hate and fight alongside you against the dreadful creatures of Vertiel, in real-time epic battles based on tactics and reaction.
The bigger the danger, the greater the temptation to draw on the demon’s power at the cost of your soul… which way will YOU choose?

"Bound by Flame" This Game has brought me a lot of Emotion.
Joy, Heartache, from time to time some hateful Grin or an eyebrow raising a la nous.
I can well understand the Split Opinion.
A good Game, no matter what Genre, needs a good Atmosphere, Story and good Combat System.
I really like the Story in this Game, it's thoughtful and conclusive.
Humor doesn't come up short either, rough Mouthpiece, dirty Innuendo Is likewise.
There are 3 possible Endings, which always spurs me on. I had played 2 Endings and was a bit disappointed, just * schnipp * end Credits, End. Had more expected.
But the 3rd Ending blew it out again, Mathras holding a long Monologue about future happenings, a nice Conclusion.
For my Mind: 8/10 Music: I Like this too, easily reminiscent of Japanese Game/Anime Soundtracks.
Again: 8/10 Graphic: Well, there's better, but There always is. When you get the Resolution high Up (at least my old Rattlesnake Box, AMD 6Kern, ATI Radeon 5k series) a solid Environment without my Computer Wagging the Flag. 7/10 We come to the Combat System The Combat System appears, especially at the Stage Captain, sometimes ... Unfair, I think it's quite good, in a polite dialogue I would use the Word "Unfair" (I leave the reader to the Point of interpretation).
From Chapter 3 you are in a lousy Environment, loud Crystals and many Frost Spells that severely restrict you. Especially in Demon Form (Strong Susceptibility to Frost) one repeatedly reaches the Limits of his balanced State of Mind.
The Fights themselves are very linear, down to boring and unnerving.
Opponents who use Spells you have to kite around and try to get behind them, because their Life Bars otherwise sink more chewy than crystallized Honey from the Spoon.
In the Game is worth laid on 4 Weapons:-Daggers-Big Sword-2-hand Hammer-Berserkeraxe My personal Opinion on the Fights: First killed, make these reasonably Fun again, whereby one has to bear in mind that the Fun Factor will only come crust out of the Basement again Must.
Many complain about the unbalanced Fighting Style, the 2Hand weapons are hardly needed at all.
In the main man mode, I can only agree.
The Forest Ranger Position is designed to evade and Counterattacks. Curiously, the Block comes at 2H weapons instant, but the Motivation of the punch execution likes to take a vacation.
The Reason for The Increase in the Mood during the fight, is the Slowing of Time (Fullskill) ignites you to add to Pyro effects the Opponents lie faster in the Dirt than you can look and the shameful Grin would do joker every Honor.
But until then, it's a very long, arduous and tough Road, because the dealt Dmg is scaled pretty far down.
Which leads me to the Point Of damage.
Every now and then there are the famous "Dark Souls" Moments. You stand there with your two Toothpicks, get an Earcup a la Bud Spencer and lie in the Dirt.
