Butterfly Catcher (Renae Aurisch, Tyler Marcelis, SomewhatDecent)

Butterfly Catcher is a unique virtual reality experience where the player has the opportunity to interact with butterflies while simultaneously learning about their behaviours, ecosystems and history. Focusing on passing on exciting knowledge about endangered Australian butterflies to the player base, Butterfly Catcher allows for players to really feel like they’re with the butterflies they’re learning about.

Created in 3 weeks as a student project at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (1 week for artists).
