About

CANNIBAL

Many decades after the worldwide economic collapse of 2040 along with the decrease of natural resources, hunger and violence haunted the society in a global scale.
After a never ending war of global scale in the search for resources, whole cities were destroyed and families devastated in a few days, governments and authorities dismantled.

The world population which had been around 8.6 billion in 2030 is expected to drop around 10 million and this number decreases every second. Mankind now lives in fear, fighting every day for its survival.

Surrounded by death and destruction, groups were formed in order to survive in a world without laws where killing others became something normal, even casual. Societies were formed in search of balance and better ways to deal with all adversities. Some of them are willing to accept new members and other ones are closed and kill invaders without hesitation. They all fight among each other in the run for resources.

It is believed that with the lack of food, some barely alive survivors found in the human flesh the solution to overcome this harsh life and together in small clutches invade villages, ruthlessly seeking for fresh human meat. Unsuspecting people who wander lost in the woods are easy prey for these clutches of Cannibals that are increasingly becoming more than small groups as more and more join their ranks with each passing day.

Live the life of a survivor who lost his parents at the age of 12 and was raised by a man called Mr. Francis. For decades Mr. Francis survived cannibal attacks, facing the hunger and the thirst. Some say he has managed to get by due to his luck, others believe his foes never considered him a real threat.
Be as it may, the important is that he took care of you and still cares, helping you with brilliant buildings for protection and in the search of scarce resources.

You will have to venture in an astute way through cities inhabited by gangsters and forests that are home for cannibals looking for a way to stay alive and thrive in this very inhospitable world.

Early Access Review Thanks Fantis for the key. My First look at this game has been very good, although it still lacks a bit of work (not much) but a little if. It Has some extraordinary graphics, and the sound of ambience, is very achieved. But I tell you that you can improve this game, quite. The crafting has cost me a little understand how it worked, but soon I got the simple and I made complicated, ways to craftear things. Simply drag from your inventory to the place that tells you the game you should drag it. And so easy it was, I didn't find it xD. The Unreal Engine does a lot in this game with a lighting, very well worked, shadows, etc. I was quite impressed, the textures of the sand, and especially the palm trees. Very Much achieved. Since the last patch, you can craftear more objects, before you could only a couple, but the system is advancing, and little by little we know, which brings us more this game. I liked to include missions, how to find this here or take it there, etc. I think it's quite original. So it ceases to be a survival, of those who tire me many times. All crafting and that's it. The mission indicator, I also found it curious, leaves a box in green, which tells you the distance to go, to the next mission, or point of interest, as a GPS. I'M Going to leave it here, we'll see how this Early access evolves from ¨ Cannibal ¨. I Hope for the better. As I have told you the game promises. Wing See you later.

Early Access Review Looks good but many uncool graphic bugs. Nothing is explained... i start with a controller. What button does what? You cant look in the menu. So i switch to controller and keyboard and mouse... after some time i found water... but i cant drink it... i´m right in it... and its not sea water... If i look in the menu.... wow is it so important to have a solar panel stuff enty that early? You didnt hesitate to tell me what i dont need the rest of the time... and hey fuel or a light engine might be useful.... for light... energy... or a fire... You give that advise but not how to make some sticks? Or other stuff... What would you do on such an island? Try to find water or cars? Yes cars everywhere... such a nonsense... and if you found water you cant drink it... And ready-to-move-in houses are nice but it has nothing to do with survival. The sounds in the game for the simple ax are missing most of the time... so you press the mouse button... because... its impossible to put it on a controller button... and no sound.... on the other hand you go through some very small bushes... and it makes a sound like you are in the deepest underbrush... it doesnt fit... I didnt see any animals... why building traps?!? Well without water its kind of hard to survive... I think the game might get better... if it have full controller support... a useful menu... a little less graphic bugs... and a less frustrating gameplay. There are too many other much better games in this genre to vote for this one. Sorry... maybe you get better some day...
