Game PlayCastleMiner Z is an infinite world filled with deep places to explore, and horrifying monsters to slay. Build structures out of blocks, craft weapons and tools from raw materials, and explore the vast and frightening world around you.
Play by yourself or online with friends in any of these exciting game modes:
Endurance Mode: There are tales of a place beyond the mountains where Hell itself has torn through. How far can you get before you succumb to the zombies, dragons, skeletons, or other enemies that thirst for your blood? Run, fight, and sneak your way across dry deserts, snowy mountains, and icy expanses on your quest to vanquish the ultimate guardians of the abyss. In Endurance Mode, the world is randomized each game and the death of your party is permanent. Survival Mode: If you enjoy Endurance, but would rather build permanent structures and defenses, Survival Mode is where you’ll spend your time.Creative Mode: With simplified crafting and the ability to adjust or eliminate the enemy threat, Creative Mode is a great place to build vast structures in peace.Dragon Survival Mode: For those who like their trophies big and their hair singed and smoking, Dragon Survival Mode brings you up close and personal with wave after wave of the biggest, meanest, scaliest brutes in the game.
Worlds can be saved in any game mode (except endurance) so try building a castle with enemies turned off, then grabbing some friends and loading it up with enemies turned on!

CastleMiner Z reviews and comments

The solo interest is rather low but in multi with mates there is a way to have fun. The game is rather good in its whole despite the total abandonment by the devs of the game and therefore no update since October 2017 unfortunately. Some small bug but none affect the gameplay. The graphics are from another era but allow anyone to play the same games on your grandmother's computer. A rather well-filled game in which can spend several hours in solo and several dozen times with friends. Besides, the solo game does not have much interest but the multiplayer is not bad to play with friends. As for the price it is very affordable especially with the X4 Pack which you perrmetre to play with 3 other friends without them paying and all its for 2x minus the price of the game alone. In short a good game that I recommend.

As for the survival of Monster, CastleMiner Z is far from boring. Despite the fact that it was basic made for Xbox360 indie game, the PC version is for me, better playable (with the mouse, it's much simpler). The gameplay is like minecraft, but with the difference of weapons that are based on firearms. No food to survive (less realistic but rather a good thing) because the living dead, are rather energetic. The multiplayer being available gives a nice effect on multiple survival. The creation of a server is quite free and easy (no need for VPN to make it work and to play only with his friends) a difference of behavior of the players compared to Minecraft; If one creates a House, very little chance that it will be destroyed by a player (unless PvP activated). Zombies are tough (they can destroy your House on their own) and a lot of Nice content at the monster level (possibility to confront living dead, dragons, aliens etc...) The price is expensive but the game is currently in beta (1.6.3.8 on 18/02/2014) which means that it can become very prometeur in the days to come. Several modes are available:-endurance mode; It corresponds to a rapid survival. In other words, you play on a normal difficulty, with objects at the beginning of the game without a save-world. It helps to earn rewards (success)-survival mode; It matches as for endurance mode, but with different as the difficulty (without enemy, easy, normal, extreme) but no reward won in this mode with a save-world. -Dragon resistance mode: from survival by fighting a lot of Dragon. (unblockable by killing a dead Dragon living in endurance mode). -Creative mode: it allows you to create what you want with unlimited resources with or without enemies. The graphics are not famous, but if the content can be apreciated, it's not a hassle. PS: for me the creative mode is not used on a game based almost on survival.
