Clown Canyon

Clown Canyon is designed to be a mockup of a bouncy, close-quarters, team-based brawler, in which the players play as teams of clowns on ornate and eccentric trains trying to blow up the other trains or knock each other into the lava below!

 The primary sources of visual inspiration for this experience were circuses from 1870-1920 and 1800’s conservatories. The core principles that influenced the design of this experience were motion, bounciness, and hazards, as the core intent was to create a level in which the player can quickly navigate throughout a shifting landscape, avoiding threats and finding new features to interact with.
