About

Good or Insane? The choice is yours.
Following the Apocalyptic end to the Postal Dude’s week in Paradise, we follow him and his insane pitbull Champ as they emigrate to its appropriately named sister city, Catharsis. Unfortunately, due to the Global Economic Meltdown, psychotic left-wing “Green” extremism and hypocritical Government corruption, it turns out Catharsis isn’t a much better place to live.
What path will you choose when faced with the antics of a hypocritical scheming Mayor? A berserk cartoon mascot with Al Qaeda ties? A former Vice-President’s cadre of Eco-Zealots? How about Gay Segway “biker” gangs, and a sociopathic cult leader Uncle with nuclear ambitions? Will you give in to your base instincts and fight fire with gasoline? Or will you rise above it to become something more, to serve and protect your fellow citizens from the rampant insanity of our modern society?
Key features:
  • Edgy, satirical Running With Scissors sense of humor
  • A world of twisted parody inspired by real people, events and philosophies
  • Large, detailed, interactive environments
  • Crazy POSTAL style Vehicle gameplay
  • NPC’s react to your behavior in a variety of surprising ways
  • Multiple story paths determined by your behavior
  • Celebrity characters: Super porn star Ron Jeremy, Village People Cowboy Randy Jones, Internationally hated film director Uwe Boll and Playboy Playmate Jennifer Walcott
  • Appearances by other popular Running With Scissors character franchises: Krotchy, Champ and the Postal Babes, who will fight along side you (or sometimes against you!)
  • Insane new gameplay including the Helper Monkey, Grenade Cats and the BadgerSaw
  • Kill Uwe Boll! (or save him!)

Postal III reviews and comments

The Postal Dude is back. After a first Part, which was more of a Hatred Light and a twisted comic ingenious second Part, which was dripping with twisted Ideas, it's hard to top that yet. There is no shortage of ideas for Part 3 for the Developers. We're not just out and about in the Ego Shooter View and balling our way through the Area. There are also a Bunch of fun Mini Games that drive the Story Course. We have HIV infected Cats, protect legend Ron Jeremy from emancipated Housewives. Natrorially, Crotchy and even Uwe Boll should not be missing either. Despite the Pile of Ideas, Postal 2 is not top. But Postal 3, by and Large, is not a bad Game. You can access this as a Postal 2 Fan, considering this. And Postal 1 Fans look better in Hatred ...

A lot of the negative opinions are in my opinion because that's not what people expected. Do not wait to find a postal II bis (after all postal 2 does not have much in common with postal I) a semi-open world, where you wander and do what you want. Not the these are levels suites, like postal I, in which you will have different "mini-game" to do. And that's it. If making mini-games suites in close levels doesn't tempt you, then don't buy, that's all it has to offer you. There are sympatifque ideas, such as having "good" missions and "evil" missions, which gives good replayability. CERTE humor did not make me as much fly as the second, I find it more crude "beast and nasty", but some time still have me well made laugh. It's not great gameplay but personal is not for the gameplay that I play this game. And finally I was at first on it like a lot, because I did not expect this, but I leave a chance at the game and finally I have fun.

So here's my Opinion: Pro:-Acceptable Graphics (not the best, but For 2011 fine And significantly better than in Part 2)-Funny Cutscenes and Missions-Many New Weapons-SplatteratRoyce Effects are more detailed than in its Predecessor-German Subtitles-Story Is influenced by the Behavior of the player-New Sayings of the Protagonist Contra:-Frequent Crashes-Open World only after The end of THE Game (nevertheless less Freedom than in POSTAL 2, hardly a building can be entered)-Faulty target/cover system-AI error- Translation/text errors (sometimes missing from the Subtitles whole Words and Syllables)-Many Bugs (Graphics errors, Inability to move, Passers-by hang on Objects and shrug)-poorly developed AI (People move as if on Rails) conclusion: The Game is Definitely not as bad as it is often described. It entertains me very well and doesn't get boring (at least me) even after a longer Season. However, the numerous Mistakes are annoying. It acts as if the Developers have released an early beta version. The Predecessor is better in every Respect and also much cheaper. People who liked the second Part and are not very fixated on AI, Technology and Graphics, but just want to have Fun playing, I would recommend this Game despite everything!
