What Is Consumerism?

Consumerism is an educational Unity built resource management game that is heavily inspired by the award winning Democracy 3 . The purpose of Consumerism is to simulate the difficulty of running and maintaining a business whilst being ethical, environmentally friendly and making a profit. Consumerism allows the players to learn about and understand some of the difficulties and tough decisions that need to be made when running a business whilst being put behind the helm of a cotton manufacturing and distribution company.

This Project was completed as client work for the Business School at Plymouth University with the aim of being a educational tool for postgraduate Business students.

• Random positive or negative effects that occur every business quarter based on your companies ethical status and Co2 emissions.

• Dynamic world map that darkens as you pollute the world with Co2 emissions.
