Convoy
About
Convoy is a tactical roguelike-like inspired by Mad Max and FTL in which you cross a wasteland in search of parts for your broken ship.
Presented in pixel art and set in a future post-apocalyptic setting, Convoy is a squad based tactical roguelike-like in its core. You travel with your combat vehicles and convoy across a wasteland to find parts needed to repair your broken spaceship. During your journey you will encounter strangers in randomized scenarios by picking up radio signals.
Depending on the choices you make, signals can either lead to tactical combat, text based dialogue or chance based role-play. Whatever choice you make, you need to keep your convoy and its cargo safe from raiders, privateers and other enemies. Keep upgrading your vehicles, as death is permanent in Convoy.

Would recommend it, it is also a lot of Fun for the first few Laps, but unfortunately there is a lack Of Variety.
All Fights (apart from a few Boss fights) run according to the same Scheme, which has made through fun and also feels cool, but is always the Same and at some point bored (My Opinion).
The many random events are made good and contain many Allusions, but after some Time most of them are known.
The Main Quest is also always about the same, and are always at the same map points (at least after my humble Observation) (which could be because the Map could always be the same).

After an initial negative Review, I am revising my Opinion.
I still Think the Game is just too hard in Parts. It is Important to drive directly at the Beginning to the Spacecraft and upgrade the Vehicles directly. Because otherwise you really don't have Fun, because you don't survive the first 2 Fights, which is very frustrating.
Nevertheless, the Final Opponent in particular is so extremely strong that you have little Chance. And unfortunately, it is also very difficult to unlock new Vehicles, which makes progress as a whole more difficult. After almost 15 Hours of Playing, I unlocked just 2 new Vehicles.
Still, the Game is fun. It's nowhere near as GOOD as FTL, but still has its Charm.

Convoy, a very nice Game as I find.
It's eerily Fun to blow up the Raiders.
And if you unexpectedly find a Super Weapon and blow away an entire Vehicle directly, it's even more ingenious!
But unfortunately Convoy also has two big Hooks. :(
1. The Start. In my first three Tries, I've run straight into far too strong Opponents. They had three Vehicles, I had two. Where their Weapons have caused three Times the Damage. Pretty unfair. But As soon as you find or buy a good Weapon, everything is great again.
2. The immovable MVC. If it is destroyed, you have lost.
But that gives a Problem. Because it's immobile, it can't dodge pieces of Debris. So you have to intercept This with other Vehicles. All right, that's still possible.
However, there are also AOE attacks. Especially at the Final Boss. This can only be avoided by changing one's Position.
Since the MVC cannot do just that, it will inevitably be hit. Defeating The Final Boss is made very difficult as a result.
In itself, it's an exciting Fight, but these AOE attacks destroy my MVC every time. :(
As long as it is not changed, unfortunately there is a Thumbs down from me.
Losing because the Game doesn't want to let you win is plain and simple stupid.
