Crashed Lander
About
Outwit gravity, race the clock, explore new worlds.
Crashed lander is a gravity-based arcade game inspired by classics like Lunar Lander and Space Taxi. You've built a janky craft out of propane tanks and spare parts. Pilot it from pad to pad trying to beat your best time – then flirt with that fine line between speed and control.
If you’re brave enough to try Hard Mode you’ll be flopping around like a QWOPy, low gravity turtle. With a little practice you’ll be zippin' around doin' barrel rolls. You’ll see sites from the cutting edge of fractal mathematics – bizarre, organic shapes, arcane archaeological digs, and all manner of WTFderful alien vistas. Each level is a detailed hand-crafted environment that encourages the player to explore - and goof around! You can also pilot your lander in virtual reality with your Oculus Rift.
Version 3.0 is available now with better performance, improved VR support, new options menu, new tutorial, and a first person camera mode.

Crashed Lander is a physics-based land Game where you can control a rocket-propelled Lander with the Gamepad. The Graphics are simple and thus do not distract from the actual Game, nor is the Music directly annoying. The Control is based on Alignment and Thrust. That's also all it takes to fly through Rings or land on Platforms. Sounds simple, but is complicated by the partly twisted Level Structure. So you have to dodge approaching Objects or approach moving Platforms and of course end up there as well;) Also, you are now and then looking For hidden Platforms. The Control is super precise and beautifully implemented directly. The 25 Platform missions and 25 Ring Tracks are worth the 4.99 euros loosely. So my Thumbs up, Crashed Lander is on my part fully recommended.

A nice game, or you are piloting a kind of small drone (seen in the third person) on a planet with alien plants with exotic look and quite pretty. The flight area is limited by a sphere, but it is large enough for a little free evolution, exploration and amusement.
The drone is quite fragile (the shocks on the rock make it quite easily explode) and it is quite parallepipedic with a strong grip to the wind, but it is also what spice up the game and is part of the fun. Driving in normal mode is rather easy and fluid, but levels become more and more complicated with landings in increasingly crowded areas, forcing you to stay on guard. There is also a difficult mode for masochists.
The race against the clock (to get an extra star on each level) has times that are real challenges and demand to optimize its piloting thoroughly.
In short, it is a Lunar Lander 3D with the physics of flight well realized, beautiful landscapes. If you think that this kind of piloting can amuse you, go ahead, this game succeeds well this aspect there.
