Dealt

Dealt is a demo that was created by Frog Lemonade in an 11 week time frame during the Code Coven Summer Program in Partnership with Facebook Gaming.  Our team is based in Northern and Southern America, as well as Europe.  

Dealt is a narrative-driven experience with a shot of introspection which delves into the ups and downs of Ox the Fox and their coffee shop. Explore their story using unique emotion cards, with each hand leading to a different story to be discovered.

Initially, we wanted to make a small, outdoor explorable island town where the player could interact with four different characters.

Due to the time constraints of the project and changes in personal circumstances on the team, we realised near the end of the Alpha Phase that our plans were overly ambitious and that we needed to radically rescope in order to make something complete by the end of the program.
