Dogtor - Fake It 'til You Make It!
About
In Dogtor: Fake It ‘til You Make it, you play as a small canine friend with big dreams. Your master didn’t want to come back to work after his vacation on the beach, so he devised a plan in which YOU could take his place. After days of training, you’re finally ready to become a dogtor! Armed with your ever trustworthy snout and your medical arsenal, you’re ready to sniff out the ailments and treat them all with your favorite objects.
Do not be discouraged by the fact that failure will lead you directly to dog prison for a long time, my four-pawed friend. Take on the world and be the only and best dogtor there ever was.
CONTROLS/GOAL: MOUSE ONLY! Use left click to interact with the objects on your desk with your paws and right click to sniff around with your excellent snout. Gather information by talking to your patients and using your snout and stethoscope. Confirm the ailment from which your patients suffer by consulting The Great Book of Dogtoring and give them the appropriate “cure”.
Your tools:
- Questions: Click on the patient to ask what’s wrong with them. They will describe their symptoms.
- The Great Book of Dogtoring: Click on the book to open it. Written by you, this Great Book lists all the diseases, ailments, symptoms AND their cure. Use all the information gathered with your other tools to correctly identify the ailment and give your patient the correct cure.
- Snout: Your training has helped you associate certain smells with ailments. Drag your snout to the patient to identify those pleasant fragrances.
- Stethoscope: Like any good dogtor, you can drag your stethoscope to your patients to listen to their heartbeat.
The “cures”:
Nothing makes you happier than your ball, your favorite bone, your leash and that big ole’ pile of dirt you found behind the clinic. Why wouldn’t it be the same for your patients? Drag the correct item to your patient after confirming what ails them. Be careful, though, as your patients won’t be happy if you give them the wrong item! No takebacks!
