Very short (3 Hours of Play) and low voltage and almost strictly linear. In Addition, there is a Bug, which probably appears again and again with other Players and makes the Game insoluble just before the End. So I had to look at the last 10 Minutes in a Lets play, which is not supposed to be the Point of the Matter. Then the Makers had a few ideas of their own That, from my Point of view, don't work well. -There is a System in which you have to persuade other People to do something. On The one hand, you have to select 5x of 3 Possible solutions. At the same time, a Castle is built, which must be brought Down with a Catapult. Once you have selected the right Set, the Catapult Shot does enough Damage so that you can destroy a Block of the Castle. If one has always selected the right Sentence and chosen the right Block at the Castle, the Castle collapses. Sounds not Bad in Theory, but plays very tough and boring. -At one Point there is a poorly functioning Creeping System. -The Character can revisit previously visited Scenes in his Dreams and then receives additional Information, as he has a photographic Memory in his Dream. Unfortunately, nothing exciting is made of this. Basically it is so that you have to visit a Place, then at some point have to run back to your House and put yourself to sleep there, run in the Dream again to the place, then show there new Hotspots and then visit and graze again outside the Dream. Unfortunately, nothing exciting came to mind that could have been done with the Mechanics. So it just looks like recycling treasure sets to stretch through Playing Time by running between Bed and place.

A nice surprise. This "dot & click" is clearly undervalued by the community, most of the evaluations lacking discernment. The game is short and lacks ambition but I'm sure it was only the first chapter of a soap opera that never came to light (lack of means, sales too weak?). In fact, the development of the suites has been abandoned and we remain a little on our hunger. Dream Chamber is a "point & click" traditionnel mais avec quelques éléments inhabituels rafraîchissants: une sorte de combat au tour par tour pas très profond qui, si l'on en sort vainqueur, nous permet de tirer les vers du nez de l'interlocuteur; the "dreamy episodes" where we control the hero dreaming (literally) and which allow to find clues inaccessible normally. The story takes place in 1930 in the United States. We're playing Charlie Chamber, a sort of dandy who stings to become a private investigator. We immediately think of the writer Raymond Chandler and his hero Philip Marlowe. Many historical references anchor us in the subject (it is the episode of the journey from one point to another of the map in the company of our chauffeur and Butler, it is optional but it is rather well found) as well as references (sometimes clumsy or superfluous) to the actual video games (day of the tentacle...) The graphic style is not unpleasant (inspired by caricatural comics), all the characters are dubbed by talented comedians, the music (of jazz) participates greatly in the setting up of a personal atmosphere. Overall, the game is not very complex (basic puzzles, obvious linear progression). All these remarks are certainly not enough to put him in the Pantheon of the genre but we can still have a good time in his company.
