Driftmoon reviews and comments

(I've only played 2 Hours so far, so the following Text only refers to the first 2 Hours) The Game surprised me, because I mistakenly didn't expect an undue amount of it. Why was that wrong? Continue reading! The Game focuses on versatile Dialogues and free-range Areas to explore, and although the Combat System is neat, and brings good Ideas, it's a Side issue rather than the Main Feature, which is very good For the Game. Despite the similar Perspective, the Game has nothing (Except a level of perspective) in common with Games like Diablo or Torchlight. Graphically, the Game can't impress, but you quickly reprit yourself on it, and then you can enjoy the detailed Areas. Explore is very much rewarded by the Game. There are silver Feathers that increase the manappoints of the Character (Which are also used for an ever-energeizing Koecher), golden Fish (After learning the appropriate Ability) that raise an Attribute permanently, Many Containers of Gold, Weapons or books/ Notebooks that sometimes include Tips for defeating Monsters or reading Quests, or are simply interesting or funny and wonderful a lot to browse and explore. Many Items can be pulled around when the mouse Button is pressed, similar to Divine Divinity, in Order to expose some hidden Objects, or simply for Fun. The Dialogues are written very beautifully, and can make you smile. There are also a great many Options for dialogue and, in the process, serious Freedom of choice. You can ascend in your Level and increase an Attribute and skill. For example, the attributes increase the speed of the Character, what he distributes, or what he plugs in. Skills, for Example, increase the Range of the Bow, or add new Attacks such as the Shield strike. You can Also craft. With The Help of Blueprints and Objects found either by Enemies or in Nature, for example, you can make Torches. Plants such As Mushrooms grow after 1-2 Days (Yes, a Tag/night cycle is also available). Life Points automatically regenerate outside of Fights when carrying Food. Foods are automatically added to a Number at the bottom left of the screen, so you always have an Eye on them. In addition to the Main Quest, which was so far quite linear, there are Side Quests. I try not to spoil, but I can say that the Developers were very creative. From the learned of Ghosts to Creepy Closet monsters who are persuaded not to eat the Character, everything is represented, and everything implemented very entertainingly. The Game is completely English, a German Version does not exist, as far As I Know. You don't have to have studied English to understand everything, though. It's kept quite simple. A clear Recommendation from me. Pretty surprising, but all the better, and worth the Money whenever you're looking for a quieter Game, and not an action RPG. Otherwise, rather less. As I said, I have only played 2 Hours so far. But Since I was very eager, I wrote the Review right away.
