EL SEPULCRO
About
El Sepulcro is a tiny student game on the exploration of a cave temple, to discover what happened in the past, and the reason why no one wants to go inside. Switch between past and present to open the big door in front of you.
This is the story of Nise, a young woman that seeks for a cure to save her village. Rumors say, her ancestors’ sacred temple might offer some answers, but no one has visited it for a long time - it’s said to be cursed. Despite the warnings, she decides to go, and when she arrives, she discovers that someone had been there before. Now she needs to open the door to find the answers she needs. With the power of switching between times, Nise will acknowledge, that sometimes it’s better the leave the past behind: there are secrets that don’t want to be unveiled.
A puzzle-solving, first person explorer in a place full of mysteries, that makes use of the environment to narrate a story with some lovecraftian echoes.
