Empire Architect
About
Empire Architect is an ancient city-building real time strategy game, with elements from grand strategies sprinkled in for good measure. The Campaign is set in the historical Roman empire, and Custom game levels are procedurally generated. You have limited control over your subjects therefore your main focus is to build your city, manage resources, appease the gods, educate you people, keep your people happy, and deal with events as the happen all while your rivals try their best to take you out! Defend yourself and fight back with all you might!Features:
- Take control of an ancient culture (So far only Rome, but I would love to add more if possible).
- Have your people gather resources and produce ever more complex goods with them.
- Appease the gods through the religion system, or feel their wrath if you ignore them.
- Educate your people in order to take on better jobs.
- Entertain the masses through the entertainment system or risk them causing trouble in your city.
- Open Trade routes and trade both domestically and abroad.
- Research upgrades in the tech trees.
- Battle the very elements themselves in our custom Weather System.
- Build on Procedurally Generated custom maps.
- Do battle in the Historical Campaign (currently 5 of around 15 levels are in the game).

After a few Hours I noticed that Playing in the present State is more frustrated than that it is fun, on the One hand it is because of the Tutorial which is actually not a real one since it was involved in the Battle, on the other hand the Game is explained to me too flat , the entire Game seems immature towards Caesar, it has left the Early Access status and the Question is why? The Game is by no means finished and there are still so many Mistakes in the Game that I just can't recommend the Game at this Time also the price is quite high for that You get Caesar 3 at the time in the Sale 2.5 times. The Game is good no question but it is not (not yet) really finished, there are still so many Things missing, a Good Tutorial which takes one step by Step, especially important for Players who have never played Caesar and the Battle range should be revised So it's more Frustration than Lust, you go broke all the time and that goes fix if you don't plan exactly what you're building. On the other hand, it can happen quickly that your Inhabitants let out their Anger at the Buildings, if something does not suit them, unfortunately happens quite frequently. What still struck me, in the Game itself it seems to me as if it is running in high speed mode, speed 32x that has a Hectic effect and is based on the Fun a bit, who likes to Hustle and bustle, so if you watch the Car-cars at Anno, for example, it goes quite slowly If you watch here it is so fast that it doesn't look nice, everything runs differently at 32 times speed as if you had made fast forward at the video Recorder at the Time lol I am currently rather fouled and will wait for some updates when they And other Points I will change my Mind and give the Thumbs up but so far it is unfortunately Thumbs down because it has left the Early Access too early and seems immature, you should have taken Time in the EA!

Habs now just under ne hour lured ... The Game idea is good and I like it, but there are still many Bugs so I don't understand why you have already left the Early Access status. The good Wells do not work (do not give Water), the Aqäducts together with the Water Reservoirs probably do not have any Function at the moment. If you tear Off Aqäducts, small Parts of this Remain on the Screen and do not fade away. The Game is with me 2x stacked down within this short Hour without Error message. But I don't want to talk everything bad, the Developer seems to have really coded this together with Love, the Graphics are very very simple but still lovingly designed. The Sounds work purposefully, a little more Music Selection wouldn't be bad but that's not a Criticism. The Gameplay is reminiscent of a slower but also more complex Form of Age of Empires. One starts to build Huts for its Inhabitants and has to build Construction farms to produce Food and build Markets to bring the Food to the Population. Fountain is used to build a Water Supply for the Citizens. One has to pay attention to The Population Statistics because there are also limited Jobs or only limited Workers. They build Theatres for the Entertainment of the People and Temples in order to keep religious Satisfaction high, Schools are also needed to preserve educated Workers or Inhabitants with whom one can in turn use new Buildings. Later you can also recruit Armies and fight, however, I have not yet come (the Expansion of the Empire seems to be in the Foreground and the War is rather important in the Endgame). It's fun to build up his Empire despite the Bugs and I've been In the mood for more. I'm very excited to see how this Game will continue to evolve and despite the still many Bugs giving a deliberately positive Review as I think there's still a Lot of Potential in this Game.
PS: I'll update my Review as soon as I've played a little longer:)
