Endless Space - Emperor Edition reviews and comments

Endless Space (v1.1.48) POSITIVES + short Intro To each Breed (that's the Time but also with the story) + detailed Spaceships (each Breed Has its own Designs) and also otherwise quite pretty graphics + coherent Soundtracks (which in the "Emperor Space Edition" also once again Extra assist) + Planets look very good in Close-up view + space lap strategy in the Spirit of a Master of Orion 2 or Galactic Civilizations + huge, at the Beginning unexplored ancient Galaxies + 8 original Breeds, including Humans, Amoebas that clone themselves Horatio, the sawmill machine beings who do only what they were programmed to do, etc. (But without Depth, see below) + self-generated breed Possible (very awesome) + various Different levels of difficulty so that there is for everyone what is appropriate + 4X with Diplomacy, Research, Expansion and War + especially the Research Opportunities with their four major Technology branches are very diverse and the Decision on what to explore next is of great Importance (even if you are first slain by the many Possibilities at the beginning) + Rare raw Materials + exciting Race for the Spread of one's own Breed in the Galaxy + various Spacecraft types + Spaceships can be self-equipped and these Ship classes can also be named themselves + Various Planetary Improvements + acceptance of Each Planet population is important because Otherwise strikes threaten + Wormholes protect just at the Beginning of The game + constantly more experienced Heroes, who are very motivated and can be used either on Planets or in Fleets + Diplomatic Behavior of the Races Comprehensible + positive as well as negative random Events and Notifications in which you have to make decisions (of which I would have liked more) which are extended by Means of updates + a tidy and clear Interface Its Purpose is fulfilled (with only minor Defects) + AI takes good advantage of the strengths of the respective Breed and ALSO plays them very differently + AI gradually adjusts to our used action Cards and Weaponry in Space fights, and Learns from the Losses + free DLCary updates that expand the Game (Lights of Polaris, Virtual Awakening, Search for Auriga, Chronicles of the Lost) + enormous Playtime of OVER 100 Hours (with me over 110 hours) + great Replay Value with other Peoples NEGATIVES-none Proper story campaign, about the Ancient People of the ' Endless ' and their ' Dust ', you hardly notice Anything in this Game except for a few Texts-no Voiceover except in the Early intros of the different Races (for me this has been part of the Standard for a long time)-Backgrounds of the Breeds unfortunately have no real Relevance in the Game, as they are no longer addressed (good potential was given away here)-Diplomacy still leaves something to Be desired-Ships purely outwardly not removable or recolorable-weapons options are with three Different Types of Weapons are a little meagre-intervention possibilities in the Schnick-Schnack Schnuck space fights are very low (begins with the Long-range combat Phase, in which Rockets in particular unfold their destructive Potential. In the Medium-range phase, Radiation Weapons are most effective And in Melee, after all, kinetic weapons)-I didn't like lucky Factor through action cards in Space fights-no free flying around away from the predetermined space routes (so you can't get on well Fly luck somewhere into Space)-Balance of races among themselves is somewhat unbalanced FAZIT Endless Space, where Players were able to determine a great deal of Content during Development is a complex, demanding and motivating Space strategy game, but also available for Newcomers with some Familiarization, who can slowly work their way deeper and deeper into the Matter of the Game. The biggest Weak Point of the Game is clearly, unfortunately, space combat. Neat Tactical battles in pausable Real time, I would have preferred the current Solution. Nevertheless, in the last Few years, it is, overall, one of the best Games that has existed in this Area and is now probably being replaced by Endless Space 2. So If you like these Types of Games, I can only recommend Endless Space. If you are interested in further Reviews of me, follow my Group.
