About

Energy Balance is a number puzzle. You have to swap power units in such a way that their sums form correct chains both vertically and horizontally. The game is easy to learn, but very hard to master. So, are you ready to peep under the hood of an alien spaceship?

Energy Balance reviews and comments

Energy Balance is a Mathematics-rätzula Game that really requires a lot of Brain input. History: While for such a Game is not the MIttelpoint, it can continue to irritate a Player. The Story is relaritive Simpel but okay for a math game. (I haven't played Any other Maths building games for that) Gameplay: The Gameplay is very Simple and you just have to use the Mouse. General: The Menu has few Settings and I Don't have the Settings for the Music because you can only make the Music on or off, which makes it hard if you can't make the Sound any other Light or Luter. I would have liked there to be a music level. That's Why I recommend People with Headphones or Attachments turn the Sound down immediately, depending on your PC Settings. What's still a Thorn in the Side is that the Mather Bills are random, which makes it harder for the Player to be at present. I would have liked to see a selection of the Degree of difficulty. From a certain Degree, it would actually be unplayable. Verdict: For a math game it has a good Story, the Gameplay is Simple, but the Game still lacks some Things that could make it better. A simple math game 4/10

I play on Linux. Linux version: excellent. The game a math-focused puzzle. Finally, math... additions and subtraction. Each array is populated with numbers, and some rows and/or columns require that the sum of the numbers in that row/column be equal to the number shown. To this end, the number is intervered between them, until the sums correspond. There is a little phony story around the spaceship repair-based puzzles, it's no worse than being dropped directly on the tables:). The graphics are OK, the electro ambient music is pretty nice. The game is separated into 3 parts. The story, 12 levels, then 4 Hardcore levels, and finally 4 bonus levels. Difficulty level, the story mode is correct, feasible without too much difficulty. I found the hardcore mode painful. After succeeding the 1st level, I saw that the second proposed so many possible permutations, without anything to really proceed by elimination that I dropped. I wrote a little tool to bruteforce the solution. After verifying that it was working on level 1, I attempted level 2, realized that the bruteforce was not optimal given the time required, and found that someone had already made one! That turns out much better than mine. I used this for hardcore mode, I distinctly prefer puzzles with logical solutions than endless essays on paper... The bonus mode offers "square" levels, 3, 4, 5, then 6 rows/columns, each of which requires a specific amount. It's not complicated at all, it took me less than 15mins to do the 4 levels. I was expecting some unmanageable stuff after the hardcore mode, but not at all! :). Replayability, achievements achievements are simply obtained by completing all levels. Replayability is well present because the levels are always random! Do not close one by thinking back on it later, because it will have changed:). In short a little puzzle without pretensions, rather nice if you exclude the hardcore mode. GNU/Linux the Linux version is excellent, I have not encountered any worries. OS: Linux Mint 19 x64, MATE Edition. Hardware: I7 7700K OC @ 5Ghz, NVIDIA 1080GTX, 32GB RAM. Screens: Dualscreen, 1x 4K & 1x 1920x1200, single screen X.
