Escape From the Kreegan

The Year is 2845, mankind has expanded towards the stars, due to the fanatical loyalty to the counsel of 13 and an incident of a missing colony ship has incited war against a not-so friendly alien threat, known as the Kreegan.

During the battle of Kepler V you were recognized for significant feats of bravery and as a tactical genius, earning you the rank of general for your efforts.

To your dismay, while you are visiting the headquarters of the counsel of 13, you overhear one of the counsel discussing the positions of the fleet with a leader of the Kreegan, he is selling our secrets to the enemy.

Pulling back in shock you accidentally open the door revealing yourself, you are promptly arrested, stripped of your rank and blamed for a fabricated war crime.

Within months, you are been transferred to a high security prison, where upon your arrival you will be put to death.

Lucky for you, however, during transport a solar flare knocks out the security grid, you have a chance to escape.

Making your way into a hanger you find a ship, covered with a tarp, the lights come back on and an alarm blares, acting quick, your only option is to take the ship and somehow find your freedom.
