Fearless Four

English

A solo (or pass and play) game inspired by Fearsome Floors, made with pulp, only for Playdate.

Escape without being eaten by the monster!

FEATURES

• From 1 to 8 players (using pass and play)
• Multilanguage: English and Spanish (Castellano)

RULES

Players, in turn order, move 1 tile up to a limited number of spaces. First player to reach the upper left door wins.

Tiles move vertically or horizontally, but must stop on an empty space. Pressing A confirms the movement, and B cancels to start the movement again.

The available movements depend on the tile number, and alternates each turn between two possible quantities:

•  6 and 1 (player 1 and 5)
•  4 and 3 (player 2 and 6)
•  3 and 4 (player 3 and 7)
•  2 and 5 (player 4 and 8)

Upon moving onto blood, the tile slides in a straight line to the other side of the pool, for cost of one movement.

Tiles cannot get through walls or stones, but the monster does teleport through walls to the opposite side of the room.

The monster looks straight ahead, then left, then right, looking for the closest player tile, then moves one space to the closest one, if found, or keeps moving ahead, and repeats. He never looks back or through stones. But beware! If the tiles are too well hidden or the monster hits a stone, the movement will be random.

There are 8 monster cards:

• Move 5 steps
• Move 7 steps (two cards)
• Move 8 steps (two cards)
• Move 10 steps
• Catch 1 player tile
• Catch 2 player tiles

The top card is turned over to determine the distance the monster moves. There are 2 draws of the card stack. If a player is catched, when through 1st card stack draw, it's returned to start. When catched in the 2nd card stack draw, they are removed from game.

 CONTROLS 

• A Button : Place tile
• B Button : Cancel movement
• D-Pad : Choose piece destination
• Crank : Nothing (...or perhaps something)

Un juego para un jugador (o de pasar y jugar entre varios jugadores) inspirado en Fearsome Floors, creado con pulp, sólo para Playdate.

¡Escapa sin que te coma el monstruo!

CARACTERÍSTICAS

• De 1 a 8 jugadores (usando pasar y jugar)
• Multi idioma: Castellano e inglés

REGLAS

Los jugadores, por turnos, mueven una ficha. El primer jugador en alcanzar la esquina superior izquierda, gana.

Las fichas se mueven en vertical y horizontal, pero deben detenerse en un espacio vacío. Pulsar A confirma la elección tomada y B cancela para elegir otra.

El número de movimientos disponible depende del número de ficha, y se alterna cada turno entre dos posibles:

•  6 y 1 (jugadores 1 y 5)
•  4 y 3 (jugadores 2 y 6)
  
•  3 y 4 (jugadores 3 y 7)
  
•  2 y 5 (jugadores 4 y 8)
  

Al pisar sobre sangre, una ficha se desliza en línea recta hasta el otro extremo, gastando sólo un movimiento.

Las fichas no atraviesan paredes, pero el monstruo se teleporta por las paredes al lado opuesto de la habitación.

El monstruo mira de frente, a izquierda y a derecha, buscando la ficha de jugador más cercana, y se mueve un espacio hacia dicha ficha (si la ha encontrado) o continúa de frente, y repite. Nunca mira detrás o a traves de piedras. ¡Pero cuidado! Si las fichas están demasiado bien escondidas o choca con una piedra, el movimiento será al azar.

Hay 8 cartas de monstruo:

• Mover 5 pasos
• Mover 7 pasos (dos cartas)
• Mover 8 pasos (dos cartas)
• Mover 10 pasos
• Atrapar 1 ficha
• Atrapar2 fichas

La carta superior decide la distancia a moverse. La baraja se usa dos veces. Si un jugador es atrapado durante la ronda de la primera baraja, vuelve al comienzo. En la segunda ronda, es eliminado del juego.

 CONTROLES 

• Botón A : Colocar la ficha
• Botón B : Cancelar el movimiento
• Pad : Elegir dónde colocar
• Manivela : Nada (...o pude que algo)
