Feist
About
A desperate, savage survival experience full of stunning visuals, dynamic creatures, and a haunting soundtrack. Follow strange beasts through lonely forests, hazardous mountains, dark caves, and glowing swamps. Watch out for dangerous creatures that react to your movements and decisions, and cleverly concealed traps that will test your ability to survive. Over six years in the making, FEIST is a gorgeous hand-made adventure unlike anything else, with a cinematic presentation reminiscent of The Dark Crystal or Hedgehog in the Fog, and a tense original soundtrack by Tomek Kolczynski.

Feist is a great game of platforms I go straight to the conclusion, everything is good in Feist, there is nothing to throw. The music is fabulous, the design is correct and the story is excellent.
No, although some say, the game has no connection with limbo. Limbo is more of a reflexion game, Feist is primarily a platform game.
You play a funny ball of hair taken prisoner by beavers (without tails). You are escaping and you are looking to go home. For this, you will walk, walk and face traps and predators to the chain.
Two big positives to add to the whole, the game is translated in 9 languages (including French) and works on all computer platforms. What more could you ask for?
To discover all my impressions on Feist.

Pu * * * of hedgehogs!!!
Horriously sublime, frustrating of difficulty, short but intense.
Yes, graphically, it reminds of limbo but the gameplay is totally different. No puzzles here, just survival. Everything is hostile: the caterpillars covered with Pipers, the DART-Throating flies and these hedgehogs * * * that catch you and Dangl you at the other end of the screen. Even the scenery is hostile. So to defend yourself, you grab what you fall under your hand, a pebble, a branch, a pine cone... And now it's getting frenetic. You, the little hairball, you rush on an opponent five times bigger than you... And you get massacrer... Again and again...
This game makes you Rager, this game is hard, but this game is good. Its only flaw is to provoke a phobia of hedgehogs but this is only temporary (I hope).

Feist is one of those UFO's from the videogame world. It's been a while since I was intrigued by this game, and I took advantage of the 50% discount to buy it.
Do I recommend Feist? It depends on what you're looking for in a video game.
First of all, it is undeniable that Feist's big highlight is his atmosphere, graphic and sound. Graphically, of course we immediately make the connection with limbo, which is a great compliment since these two games have an absolutely sumptuous graphic universe, 2D as we would like to see more often. The music and sound effects are also very good. In short, everything has been implemented to achieve a very engaging and immersive atmosphere.
Now let's move on to gameplay. This one is extremely affordable and simple, which allows a good grip of the game and an extremely fast adaptation time. And fortunately, because some passages will give you a twist. And this is unfortunately what I would blame Feist, despite a simple gameplay, some passages seem to reveal more of the chance than mastery. Nothing very nasty, and it will not prevent a sense of pride when we succeed in overcoming an obstacle or an arduous monster, but sometimes the level design trap will be right of our nerves.
Finally, it is noted that the adventure is extremely short with a fairly low replayability (except for trophy collectors). So a title in the end very interesting by its atmosphere and its global mechanics but suffers from some flaws. So I'm glad I got it with a discount, even for the lifetime.
Thanks to the creators for this friendly experience!
