Fieldrunners 2 reviews and comments

FIELDRUNNERS 2, a classic Tower Defense to possess under its very cute game tunes, Fieldrunners 2 reveals a strategy game/Tower Defense with formidable difficulty! If the first levels can be made in difficulty casual and tough, in difficulty heroic that's another story. Moreover, to pass the levels of the world 4 (even some levels of the world 3) it is imperative a tower that is obtained via stars to win. These stars are obtained if one finishes victorious from a level according to this procedure: difficulty stars casual 1 tough 2 heroic 3 in fact, to get this famous Tower it is necessary to replay the first levels with a greater difficulty. The atmosphere is good child, the enemies (soldiers cloned with or without land and air vehicles) are varied and it is necessary to adapt to their characteristics (some enemies resist the fire, others resist the slowing towers etc...). The game is fun and addictive. The towers are not left with tricks that are acquired by the victories, as seen previously, and tricks that buy against the currency of the game that we get every time we finished a card (won or not). But overall, the basic towers and some that get through stars are ample enough. You can also use items in Exchange for gambling money but quite frankly, this can be avoided. Besides, I finished, certainly not without bad, the world of Fieldrunners 2 in heroic (3 stars) without items. The towers have 3 levels of evolutions. To increase the level of a tower this is done during a game against money (which is obtained to each enemy eliminated during the game). The items are quite diverse as mines that freeze the enemies for a few seconds, another that burns, another that brings us 3 rounds earlier in order to rectify the shot if one has committed an error with harmful consequences etc... There are several types of levels: Classic levels where enemies arrive from an entry point and the goal is to eliminate them before they reach the exit of the level (note that you have a supercis allowing you to move to the exit of 20 enemies), other levels propose to eliminate a number of enemies compared to a given time (on the other hand, there is no limit on the number of enemies that can take the exit of the level), there are levels of survival where you have to eliminate a number of enemies given without time limit (on the other hand, the number of enemies allowed to join the output goes to 3!) and levels in the form of puzzles to solve (you are required tricks to use as well as a limit of the funds to buy tricks and you make to a prob for example, make sure that the enemies go through a place of the level). One will appreciate the possibility of pausing the game during the games to ask for the time of intense reflection and we can also accelerate the rhythm of the game which is very practical. A detailed scoreboard is also available with a world ranking. What I blame the game is that we can not see the characteristics of the towers when selecting them before throwing a game. In fact, to see them, it is necessary to either go to the encyclopedia of the game which references in detail the towers and the enemies encountered (to do so do not be in a part, it is necessary to be on the map of the world), or that one can view the characteristics of towers that have been used in a current level (so we do not see the characteristics that the tower would give to a higher level or those that are not yet used in the level). Also note that the game is in English only but this does not harm the readability and the practice of the game for anglophobes. So certainly, Fieldrunners 2 may not revolutionizing the genre but it is a classic, in other words, a game to possess if you like the genre.

This game was very good. I played it a lot until it got stuck in it. It just stood on the "loading" screen all the time and the game wouldn't be the longest one.

Much more fun than other games certainly a Tower defense well done excellent graphics but cmq the structure remains that of the first game well established and reliable surely we will lose a lot of time playing a must have !!!

The game itself is very funny, but compared to the money spent it is not possible that the last update was made 8 months ago and that on iPhoneX it heats up so much and you literally eat the battery. Developers should make a move.

I have an Iphone xs and the game does not allow you to place the towers in the lower part of the screen ... the horrible mode of dragging ... it would be enough the possibility to reposition with arrows in the case ... pity because in the typology of the game really beautiful ... but unplayable on these devices.

Gnial, well done, beautiful and addictive, short top! One less canvas because a universal version, to be able to play on iPad (with sync iCloud) would be true more! April 2018: Update of years later for the support of the iPhone X ... always so top! So I'm going to get the 3 paintings that always go missing lol!

After a very long time, the hoped-for update is finally here. I have not found a better tower defense game in the App Store so far, and when I lost the game due to lack of support for the 4.7 and 5.5 inch displays of the last three generation iPhone, I did not find it. Fortunately, an update has now been replenished and this in a decent way! The adaptation to the larger displays was implemented well in every corner of the app (often sloppily developed and you realize that not all elements have the necessary pixels). Also, I could not find out in any way that the iPhone heated up unusually strong what earlier noticed negatively when playing. To the developers a big thank you for the good work and I hope more developers move on, as more and more apps simply can not be further developed and you can never be sure if the purchase is worthwhile in the longer term!
