Prototype

I recently found this old Unity game prototype I created in college and it still ran, so I decided to upload it.  Art and design are extremely simple. 

You may experience poor framerate when your flagship is destroyed.

Brief

The basic idea is that you shoot enemies and as your score increases, new ships are spawned which move with the rest of your ships.  Meanwhile, your "flagship" starts moving and shooting faster.  If you flagship is destroyed, a new flagship will be picked from among your fleet.

Intro/Instructions

Here's the description I included in the original game (you have to click the circle in the upper left of the game to close this dialog). 

Welcome to Flagship! You are the commander of an Intergalactic Defense Force Assault Fleet. You are tasked with the objective of reaching and destroying the alien mothership. The IDF will provide reinforcements as you approach your target. Ships will shoot faster with experience. Each fleet will have one Flagship which moves faster, but is all the target for enemies. If your Flagship is destroyed, a new one will rise from the ranks. Controls: WASD for Movement Left and Right Arrows (or Q and E) to rotate 45 degrees Space to Shoot Left Shift to use Rapid-Fire Power-Up Powerups: Powerups must be picked up by a Ship to be used (shooting them destroys the powerup) Green spawns a new ship Blue allows the Flagship to use Rapid-Fire Red spawns a Turret that will last 10 seconds Press Left Control at any time to Restart Click the Toggle button to close this window.
