This is 'from France', a new video game from Outhouse Media.
It tells the story of a father and son who find life in comparison to each other taxing. They gradually develop an affection for one another, but activities are inappropriate for one another. And despite knowing each other well from their father's business, this is a growing rivalry that soon makes for a growing struggle. Early impressions suggest that there's a sense of camaraderie and fair play at play, and will introduce both male and female characters into the mix. The developers say they're still first in line for the 'indie game of the year' award at the World Game Awards 2014, which takes place on 29th May in Los Angeles, and are keen to make their very first foray into industry on a commercial level. The press release sent out today said: "In the summer of 2009, a French-French designer named Jean-François Delantije set out on a quest to understand the complex interactions that develop between father and son. It was David Wojtek's collaboration with Outhouse Media that led to the creation of this exclusive, 100% free game, Le Morte."
