The Game Garlock Online offers an unprecedented mix of Style elements that leaves the Likes of Final Fantasy Far behind. May The Loading Screens give the Impression of a fantasy skin running Mnous, so Mind-blowing are the Classes that are reminiscent of a post-apocalyptic shooter with their Firearms and Clothes. Anyone who thought so far he would play a cut-out 0815 MMO, immediately gets the Impression that something very big is coming to Him here.
After creating your Hero, you're shipped straight to Garlock City, a really beautifully designed City. Right here you get to feel the next big Strength of the Game. The Developers have deliberately Dispensed with Tutorials to give players a traditional Feel. Rewarding Trial & Error as you know it from the early Days of Video Game culture. HellconX™ Games has also been clearly inspired by old Pearls. The Character moves extremely realistically, the Pace of the heavily equipped Unit reflected as much as many major Blockbusters miss. The Endurance System has been cleverly resolved. Every Shot draws Stamina, which is no Wonder with such a big Recoil. The Gun has a Lot on it, it hits almost everything at the Same time and regardless of Orientation. We would like to see that happen in other Games as well!
However, HellconX™ Games also takes other unorthodox paths. When you get acquainted with your Protagonist, you enter the first Area, you realize how many ingenious Gameplay Decisions have been made. You are hardly tied to the Game world, many hidden Paths over steep Rock Walls can be discovered and if you are not careful you fall into a Trap from which you can no longer get out. As in real Life, Class!
You can also see that with Garlock Online, the Developer wants to win over his Players to new HUD decisions. The green Bar on the Character Avatar, for example, allows the Fallacy that it is a Life Bar. Far from it, because he's only there to show New Entrants "Welcome to Garlock Online, you suck." The actual HP is the same above it, but a Death for The Unexperienced is pre-grammed.
All in all, Garlock Online knows how to convince in the first Few minutes. While there are minor Weaknesses, such as the fact that the Map and Inventory can no longer be closed. However, since the frequent Loading Times are quite manageable, a Restart of the Game is not a big Leg Break.
I recommend everyone to invest a lot of Money in this Game, as it is much better than Genre-vetters like WoW and it costs €13,000 a Month. Frequent buying the Additional Content Is therefore absolutely desirable and justified.
