Gemini Wars doesn't offer much. A few different Ship Classes that are hardly noticeably different, far too slow construction times for Ships (often you just have too many Crystals because you can't spend them) and a rather boring Campaign. Skirmishes are fun from time to Time, but they are quickly boring. I prefer to play Star Trek Armada Or other Games-they are older, but more Fun! (Especially take over the Ship, more tidy Interface etc.)
For €0.50 you can buy the Game-otherwise better leave your Fingers off it!
A much more complex and better Game is Sins of a Solar Empire, for example!

Gemini Wars seems very unfinished.
The Story is hardly worth talking about And somehow everything the Game offers has already been seen much better.
Skirmishes are Fun-One or two Times, then you saw everything, did it all. Once you have the Arc out, the Games are quite short.
The Tech Tree can hardly be described as such. There are only a few Improvements and ever larger Ship classes. So You research the super battleship and bring the Opponent to his knees with an Armada of this big fight Mob. However, bugs soak for a single enemy Fighter Squadron To be enough to turn our entire Fleet of Large-scale combat Ships into Space debris. So anyone Who has no hunter Of their own and relies on the FlaK Of the Battleships will be surprised at how quickly those are shredded by a few barely visible hunters.
Visibility is a good Cue. 90% of the Time you can see the tactical Map on which the Fleets are displayed as small Symbols. However, since the Battles are highly unspectacular, it is not worth a zoom into battle. Great Finesse does not require space combat. Mass instead of Class is enough and then kan can also leave the Fleet to its own devices, go for a Coffee in the Kitchen and be back to Victory.
Theoretically, one can target individual Systems of the Ships and shoot enemies in a Tradable manner, and then take him over by Attack squad, but that works out in Practice then only in the Manual.
The Developers had certainly been able to make something of Gemini Wars a little more time with Their Game. However, that is how it has remained with Goodwill.
What I like, on the other hand, is the Music during the Fights.
Conclusion: Suitable For a quick Battle in between but Things the Gemini Wars are simply too superficially implemented to be able to captivate for a long time. This is joined by disturbing bugs and poor Clarity.
The Price for which you get is completely excessive. If you want to risk a Look, you better wait for Gemini Wars to be on Offer and then strike.
