About

Satellite Reign is a real-time strategy, where you customize your team of four members and fight the tyranny of a mega-corporation called Dracogenics. The game is set in the open-world cyberpunk future, so the visuals combine dark locations with neon-highlighted spots. The gameplay depends on your soldiers’ class. You can use agents with different abilities to form a group that suits your playstyle. There are multiple ways to complete missions, whether you prefer to be stealthy or rush through enemies’ facilities.
The story takes place in a fictional City, where Dracogenics gets the full control over politics and military forces. To release the city, you become the head of a rival corporation and set attacks against Dracogenics. The goal is to overcome the evil syndicate using well-designed tactics.
Except for missions, the game pays attention to the technology development and resource management you need to provide to defeat Dracogenics. Meanwhile, the interaction between your corporation and civilians is minimal, so you don’t need to affect their attitude to you to win.

Satellite Reign reviews and comments

Satellite Reign I played through Satellite Reign completely in cooperative Mode and didn't have any Single-player Experience with it, but together with a Friend it was definitely great Fun for both of us. We're not rushed through, have read the various news/Logs here and there or made any Nonsense with the Hacker or Bombs, so I guess anyone can have to the 25 Hours of Entertainment with the Game. I think The Replay value is fine, but sometimes the possible Procedures in the Bases are somewhat repetitive. However, One has generally enough Possibilities at Hand and can also try very oblique Tactics. The Feeling of playing unfortunately weakens with the somewhat spongy handling of the individual Agents, who take so much unexpected Time with Actions every now and then that you want to blame them encouraging, but otherwise it scores with really different classes, Grandiose heavy Weapons and their weapon Effect-to-sounds. Many an Explosion is too powerful and gnaws at the Performance, but looks great for it and makes the whole Screen quake. You really feel like an observer of your agents at such a moment when the screen goes in on a Big Explosion and displays Disturbances (even the Slow motion effect looks very chic) and not just like a Player in front of the Monitor. The Hunting Hunts, if something goes wrong, also have their own Entertainment value and make up the Game as well. Finally: The Game has its Quirks and I could only imagine to babysit 4 Agents at the same time, even if it is certainly not impossible, but for two you always have the Action sufficiently under Control. The positive Points far outweigh me: The Cyberpunk Atmosphere has succeeded, the Effects are nice to look at and feel good, you have many Options and it is interesting how much you perceive Your Level Progress when you deal with ever larger You can create Enemy masses (You can play it for the most part without direct Combat) and have chic tricks available for many Situations. Nice Game, like more of the same.

Satellite Reign (v1.06) POSITIVES + Syndicate Setting + many small Graphic Details + German Translation (has been submitted) + 4 Different Classes (Soldier, supporter, Hacker, Intruder) + world scan looks great and is useful + beautiful animated Billboards (E.g. Noir) NEGATIVES-unspectacular Staging-Mission Center not set to little-tutorial Explained too little-weapon sounds very lame and inappropriate (Original Sounds from over 20 Years ago were better, and that means something)-no Voices or Conversations too Hear all over the City what seems maximum unrealistic-cars move very unnaturally-very tough Game entry-Impasse right at the Start, as research unnoticed in the Background has consumed all my Money, so I no longer bribe the important Target Person Could-radar ping on the Map far too weakly depicted and hard to track-AI of your own Agents is virtually non-existent and so they just let themselves be shot if they are not told to shoot back, and if an enemy Target is annihilated Or don't automatically choose a new one; In addition, it simply is shot blunt on a straight Line, if necessary on pointless against a Wall, until the Ammunition is empty-AI of the Enemy is also bad; Flanked Opponents simply keep fighting without seeking new Cover or fleeing, etc.-uninteresting Fights-infinite enemies, no matter how much you kill-Sneaks often result in Fights, as their own Agents don't exactly move inconspicuously from A to B- Just a City that represents the "open World," where there is hardly anything to do away from missions except hack, kidnap and steal Genes, so why this "open World"? -a City full of stupid People who merely react to the Player's Actions; The City only looks alive, but it isn't-new Weapons only exist if you steal Prototypes-shot guards can't take anything off apart from Ammunition-no Storing in red Zones-Story is barely present and uninspired and is presented only via Text Windows- Game Crash after two Hours (!) FAZIT The original Syndicate (1993) was one of the best Games I really liked to play at the time, But Satellite Reign is unfortunately simply irrelevant. It's poorly staged, the Gun Sounds are lame, nowhere are Voices to be heard, the Menus are a Joke and Motivation you look for in vain. The Game is just boring, non-substantial and unfinished. No Recommendation initiated on my part and even Return of the Game. If you are interested in further Reviews of me, follow my Group.
