Successor of "old school" games, Genesia Legacy is a challenging and punitive turn-based strategy game, easy to learn but hard to master.
Commissioned by the King to find the Sacred Gems of NEORT, you arrive on unknown territory with a small group of settlers.
Caring leader or remorseless tyrant, you will need resilience to succeed in your mission. Be ready to accept the consequences of your actions, because in the world of Genesia, every decision is important and every action is final.

  • Start a new life: send your troops explore unknown territories.
  • Expand your territory: train your settlers to survive harsh seasons and weather.
  • Build! Have your architects build fields, barracks, taverns, workshops... They have dozens of construction plans.
  • Keep a balanced ecosystem: Will you protect or damage the environment? Your actions have an impact on the world.
  • Combat epidemics: Find remedies, brew potions. Achieve scientific progress!
  • Meet historical figures: William Wallace, Richard Lionheart, Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo, Blaise Pascal, Jane Shore, Marco Polo and many others...
  • Will you be a tyrant? Will you plunge your people into war, spread terror, practice slavery and develop weapons of destruction in order to accomplish your quest? Or... Will you be kind and wise?
  • Procedural world generation: You will never play the same game twice. High replay value!
  • An elaborate and detailed game with a coherent ecosystem.
  • Retro graphics: undeniably charming.
  • Up to 3 players in hotseat mode.

Genesia Legacy: Ultimate Domain reviews and comments

Product received for free early access review having participated in the closed alpha of Genesia legacy, I can only recommend this game. Challenge worshippers and turn-based strategy games will find their account without worries. With a hint of old school graphics that make the game adorable! The game is easy to understand, but the difficulty is at the rendezvous, the slightest mistake can cost you very much. So you have to be persistent! On the other hand, once the operation is better understood, it becomes a game with very varied strategies, where you have to take into account each element, from the morale of the units to the State of nature, through the management of your resources. The game therefore has a huge lifespan, even in early access where all the content is not yet integrated! Victory can only be achieved with a well-run strategy!

Early access review usually I'm not particularly fan of this kind of game, but Genesia is different because it has a very deep, and many mechanics that make the game both difficult while remaining pleasant. The choices that one has to make during the game have consequences for the continuation of the adventure. It takes many parts to start not to fall into the traps, the side "die and retry" is very present in Genesia, at least in the first ten hours. As the author showed us during the one live stream, Genesia offers many tactics that only time will allow to discover. The game is widely playable in its current version, one could even say that it is finished and that its future release in stable version would correspond to a new DLC for some games. I do not regret having participated in the indiegogo two years ago to support this project.

Early access review is quickly put into the mood thanks to some simple storyboards, no frills, by bling bling, the intro is effective and short: just what it takes to not annoy players from the start. After a short intro so, we take the orders of a small town and we are very quickly put in the cold bath of management. Unlike many other games, the start does not consist in the stupid and nasty construction of a pile of buildings which it is not even obligatory to understand the utility. No, here it will be necessary to begin to understand the world around us before initiating any action. Moreover we realize very quickly that the lack of understanding is paid cash in Genesia! It is difficult, punitive, but just. Frustration is extremely rare and most defeats find an explanation that quickly jumps to our eyes, at the same time as the urge to revive a new game elsewhere. To spoil nothing, the game is full of humor and pun that will make the 30 + sneering for sure:) Every new game is exciting, besides I go. Test!
