GMSInvaders

Note: This project is provided as a learning resource for people wanting to make games with GameMaker Studio 2.  The game itself is free, but I ask a small amount for the source code.

This is a version of the classic Space Invaders that has been warped and twisted a little!

Some of the graphics/ideas are taken from the Atari 8-bit version of Space Invaders.  This lacked the typical bases as found in the arcade version, so I took the "shield" idea from Gorf and also added some "tiny people" that you should try and protect to gain extra bonus points.  There's also, plenty of particle effects and useful code snippets inside.

The source code is fully commented and once purchased you are free to do whatever the you like with it.  All I ask is that you refer back to this page in any credits so that others can learn from the code too.

Please note that I can only supply very limited support for the source code - best endeavour basis.

Further games will be provided using the same model, so follow if you'd like more GameMaker Studio 2 source code :)
