Good Robot

This is a pretty fun take on the infinite shooter type game, throwing in some elements to make it really addictive. Definitely challenging quickly though.

Good robot is ultimately a little game without big pretensions that will allow you to live each time a new adventure by taking different paths. His interest lies in the possibility of quickly performing several parts in a row. For each new part of course all the progression is lost, which can be frustrating but which in the end allows to establish different rankings in local or online. Good robot gives me the impression that the developers wanted to create a game that could be played on Arcade terminals and in which only the ranking counts, the score being established according to its performance, this one taking into account the number of robots killed , money raised and improvements purchased. If you like 2D shooters and rogue-like, the ten euros demanded will not scare you but if you are allergic to rankings and lack of definitive progression, go your way. If I put aside some negative points (the beginnings of too simple runs, the use of the hat and the perfective sounds) that will be corrected by the release since the developer is aware and actively working on it, I was very pleasantly surprised by the rest. The decorations are colorful and legible, the weapons really varied and make you want to go always further to discover them all, the robot is pleasant to steer, etc. Each improvement kiosk also offers three news about the universe that I strongly advise you to read (as well as descriptions of weapons and abilities) because it is always very funny. There is another very interesting statistic: the angle of view. Basically, you can only see the enemies that are located in your light beam. It looks all silly and there is little chance that you would devote gold coins to improve it, but I can assure you that you will regret it towards the end when enemies will come and stick to you without even you detecting them and you will then begin to stress and constantly sweep all around you in search of the slightest movement. Gingerly recommended. It has some good moments, but the difficulty jump in one of the last zones is super-frustrating.
