Happy Game reviews and comments
Happy Game is the most disturbing, audacious, and troubling experience Amanita Design has ever created. Where the studio usually offers poetic and benevolent universes, it plunges into a childhood nightmare that is oppressive and unsettling. Short (2-3 hours), it compensates with striking visual creativity, each tableau filled with unhealthy details and inventive animations. The bright colours and smiling characters paradoxically heighten the unease, creating a disturbing contrast between naive appearances and deep darkness. A true masterpiece of surrealist puzzle-horror, where every puzzle feels like it's from a feverish dream. The images will linger in memory, sometimes against your will. Not for sensitive souls or younger players, but absolutely fascinating for those who appreciate indie gaming's darkest frontiers. A masterful, disturbing work.
