About
Everyone needs a hat! The Desktop player pilots the drone to find the hatless, VR player throws hats to the hatless! Soar through the skies and comb the streets to address the problem of hatlessness.
Created for the 2021 Armed Forces Jam, Hat Trick is a game that uses a VR player, a desktop player, and synthetic data generation by cataloging each item seen by the in-game Drone player to an external file for later data analytics.
Game requires PC, VR headset, and gamepad controller.
Gamepad Controls
Left stick: Move toward direction pressed
Right stick: Roll camera toward direction pressed, swivel drone in horizontal direction pressed
Right trigger: Ascend
Left Trigger: Descend
PCVR Controls
Head direction: Aim player direction
Left stick: Move toward direction pressed
Right stick: Turn camera
Right/Left Triggers: Throw hat

Amentum's challenge was to use synthetic data generation inside Unity, so our goal was to differentiate subsets of cars and subsets of people and report that data in a separate file that's built by the game.
