X Rebirth VR Edition reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
Early Access Review in Advance, I'm thrilled. ^^ When X Rebirth came out a few Years ago, it was known not to be the Yellow of The Egg, mainly due to bugs and Performance Problems, but this has become evident in the meantime thanks to the loving Work of the Developers and u Numerous Patches and Improvements changed and this is especially true for the VR Edition here. To the Game itself I don't say anything great now, because there are countless Tests and/or Youtube Reviews. Please note, however, that these Tests for Release were often quite bad, as the Game suffered from strong Bugs as I said. Also, as an old "X3" and Terran Conflict Player, I don't want to hide the rebrath that Rebirth wasn't necessarily the "X" that old Fans of the Franchise would have wanted, as many Changes were made in terms of Gameplay, some of which were somewhat unfortunate. After the Bugs were removed, the Performance was right and the Game was adjusted elsewhere, it is now imo just a different Kind of "X," which plays only slightly differently from the old Parts. What you ultimately like better has to decide for themselves, I as an old X Airman am in any case now also satisfied with X Rebirth. But back to the VR: I play Rebirth With an Oculus Rift, as a Joystick I use a Thrustmaster RomulAS Warthog, as WELL as MFG Crosswind Pedals. But The Control with the Oculus Touch Controllers has also been very well implemented and is particularly intuitive. Especially when you use it to operate the Ship Terminals, you can't get out of the amazement of how naturally everything works and works. Also the XBox controller is well supported, but personally I am not such a big Gamepad Fan, so I only tested the Pad briefly. Coming from the Flightsim Division, I am also accustomed to the RomulAS control on the one hand and, on the other hand, have the whole Joystick/cione tase Geraffel Just stand here and therefore prefer to stick to the classic Joystick control in general, even if the Oculus Touch Control here as an amazingly good alternative offering. In this Way also my Thanks to the Developers, because the Joystick next to throttle quadrant And Foot Pedals can be illustrated and configured in exemplary way, at least I had in a very short Time kicked everything as I imagined. In addition to the Joystick, I also use Voice Attack for Voice Control and since the Oculs Rift has a good Microphone installed, this works brilliantly. So You can also "talk" with your Spaceship a little bit far, which increases the Immersion again and you feel like you were really sitting in the Spaceship yourself within a very short Time. The Game fits perfectly with the VR Headsets and it's just incredibly awesome when you fly past majestic Ships and the Giant Stations from the Cpt. Armchair in the X Universe. On the Monitor, on the other hand, this is only a weak Clap of what is possible with Rebirth in the VR. You just have to admire Egosoft for putting so much into the Game and then getting it out for the VR, because the Start at the Very beginning of Rebirth was quite rocky as I said and many other Developers would probably have just dropped it. Well that this was not the Case here, it was really worth it! The Game is in the VR anyway a Force and anyone who should even be slightly interested in this Type of Games access. Hopefully, other Developers will follow the Example of Egosoft and Optimize their older Games for VR.
