Hi-Fi Rush reviews and comments

Hi-Fi Rush еmеrgеs as a rеmarkablе surprisе, dеvoid of traditional advеrtising yеt dеlivеring an еxcеptional gaming еxpеriеncе. Its ingеnious blеnd of PlayStation 2 nostalgia with contеmporary fеaturеs is commеndablе, as еvеrything harmoniously syncs with thе music – from movеmеnts to combat. Whilе thе gamеplay is undеniably fun, thе simplicity of thе storylinе is a notablе aspеct. Nеvеrthеlеss, thе gamе's organic brilliancе rеmains mind-blowing and sеts it apart as an unanticipatеd yеt imprеssivе gеm.

Quite a surprise.

This game came from nowhere and just delivered so much. Something rare nowadays. A compound of lovely and charismatic characters, intriguing premise, rhythm gameplay, a lot of content, and no expectations made this game a must-play for real. Oh, I can't forget about the good OST and fantastic humor. I loved the timing here.

It's so good to play some uncommitted games today. We`re missing this. I hope it will get a sequel soon. Good job, guys.

What a freaking amazing game. Felt like a true PS2 hack n slash game with the added rhythm. Fun as hell, very arcadey and 0 monetization. Play this, it's so worth it.

Amazing start. It’s got great style, great music, funny writing, A vibrant and dynamic world, and a very unique combat system that so far feels great. This is all amplified by the fact this game was shadow dropped, and isn’t the type of game I’d usually enjoy.

I’m getting close to the end. I’m at stage 10. The game has continued to get better the more I’ve played. The story and writing is still funny and lighthearted. And the gameplay continues to improve as they add in new mechanics and moves. I’ve memorized a decent number of combos now as well so I can focus on movements, and enemies and timing without having to spend quite so much energy trying to remember what combos to press.
Even the length of this game feels appropriate. I like that I feel like I’m close to the end. It’s going to end on a high. I only have 2 complaints so far. My biggest complaint is the green guys ability when out of combat is the only thing in the game that feels off to me. The timing of it doesn’t seem natural and I fail all the time. It’s hard to tell when it starts to go and it doesn’t feel in rhythm with the world. My other complaint is even smaller, and it’s that the platforming is just so so. Chai moves great in combat but the platform is just fine. He feels almost a bit stiff with the dash. Two very small complaints otherwise I think Hi-Fi Rush is really well made across the board.

Oh my god that final Kale fight was so hard for me.  I think I was trying to rush through it but I failed so many times. 18 deaths. Fun game though. Great shadow drop.

Final Score: B+
