a space navy combat game.. (I mean "proof of concept" ) about Planetary Bombardment and living in a far future feudal society.
WASD and Arrow Keys to control spaceship
Planet Targeting with Insert/PageUp and Home/End keys.
Right mouse button fires a "test" missile which doesn't kill anything yet.
380 megs.. i'm going to reduce that down.
Player commands a large spaceship.. spaceship will have a "card" on screen, card will have buttons, buttons issue orders, have a time-out function..
planet has a population, who lives in the cities.. when population gets attacked, population will diminish..
that's all I got, a continuation of "Exterminatus Extremis".. but with some original art so I don't burn out on it while learning some new stuff (I'm more of an art person than a coder).. but my main goal here is to make orbital bombardment look cool, try to destroy the planet.. and place some random cities and show a "population" score on screen.. if I can recreate the "asteroid camoflague" from Jodoroski's Dune on that Spice Pirate spaceship, I'll be very happy.
