        Hob reviews and comments

Beautiful and stylish puzzle action platformer with a little vibe from Ico, Journey and a hint of old Zelda.

Can be finished in under 10 hours and unlocking everything takes a bit more.

No tutorial, no subtiteles and focus on collecting everything not nailed down.

Release bugs are now mostly patched and with the latest Nvidia drivers for the 10 series card have fixed the stutters.

Libra is a little Pearl for Friends of action adventures. Story (without Spoiler): A Special Feature of the Game is its complete Speechlessness. Dialogue is occasionally hinted At, but only accompanied by Sounds. Nevertheless, you always know what to do, the Pictures that show you the Game are expressive enough. In the End, you have to save a corrupted World and fight the Invaders for the Good of Nature. The End has been very successful. I don't want to say Any more than spoiling. ;) Control and Gameplay: The Game is best played with a Controller, both Steam controllers and XBOX One Controllers have worked smoothly. The Control goes very well. The Gameplay is quite "basic," but through one or the other Special ability it remains interesting and varied. Backtracking occurs, especially because you have to do Things at different times in different Places in the World, or to find all The Unlockables that you didn't have Access to without one ability or another. There is also a Kind of Currency, as well as various Extras that you can find that Can be used to upgrade weapon or Energy. The corrupted Areas, which can be liberated and then enter or reach Parts that were previously inaccessible, are a great Mechanic that invites you to explore again and again. Graphic and Art-style: I really liked the Art-style. Unlike Torchlight (same Makers, some Parallels you can see here) rather kept in Natural Colors plus intense Blue that reflects the Energy. Looks a bit monotonous over time, but is ok on the not too long duration of the Game. The Characters, the Backgrounds and the Opponents are very successful, the Graphics well and in love with detail. Sound and Music: The Background Music is ok, somewhat repetitive but unobtrusive. The Sound Effects are a good fit. You Can't complain. Best Hunger: I played the Game on the TV at my HTPC, an i5 2500, 8 GB of RAM with a Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti Windforce, and could hold On maximum settings in Full HD the 60 FPS usually, only 2-3 Areas had Framedrops on 45 FPS. Scope and Conclusion: Hob Entertained me very well. The Comparison with Zelda-like doesn't fit imo, rather Zelda-light. But the Game doesn't want to attract the Shoe. Lip is rather "straight" from the Plot, so linear. Still, the Game offers some Depth. The Fights are rather simple, with the exception of their own Exceptions, which of course depends on how much Time you put on Collecting and upgrading (limitering). Never got bored with. You can manage the Game in 10h, I wanted to get as many achievements as possible in a Run as well as see both alternative ends (you can repeat the Close) and am just over 20 Hours. My Journey into the World of Hob has paid off and I can make it warm to Action Adventures with a penchant for quick, not too complex Combat!
