About

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is an extended version of fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us based on the imaginary universe of DC Comics. The gameplay is made in a traditional fighting 2.5D manner: battles occur in a 2D perspective but all the characters and objects are 3D. All fights are held in one-on-one form, where each participant has two life scales. Game mechanics are simple: three different types of hits and a special ability are available for each character. Some on-map objects are interactive and can be also used in attack. The main action takes place in a universe, which is parallel to a DC’s one, so occasionally clashes may look unusual. According to the storyline, Superman established dictatorship on Earth, and several Justice League members started resisting him. In the game, players are able to take control of favourite DC heroes and to participate in a war between Superman’s domination and the rebellion led by Batman. The Ultimate Edition offers players 6 new characters, over 30 new skins, and 60 new S.T.A.R. Labs missions.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is followed by the sequel Injustice 2.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition reviews and comments

I loved this game back on Playstation 3, It featured many of my favorite superheroes in epic battles and a very creative storyline that made me start reading comics! Injustice comics is my favorite comic series to this day!
8/10
I'm not a fan of fighting games. I don't like the mechanics and I generally don't like a game making me do things to be an effective player (button mashing combos and such). So I just bought this game mainly for the DC comics characters and settings as well as an obvious interest in the story (which proves to be one of the game's stronger elements). The game revolves around two DC universes coming into conflict with each other. Same characters populate both universes, but different choices and actions have resulted in many of these characters changing dramatically from what they are/were in the alternate universe. The game popularized the "dictator Superman" concept with Batman leading a Resistance group against Superman and his regime. To take down Superman, Batman brings over their alternate selves from a parallel universe. The concept is cool. The character designs look cool (not as cool as the Arkham series) but they are identifiable and wonderful to see in action. The voice work is good. The graphics are horrifically dated, even for 2013 and especially as a remaster on PS4. The game also does not have a difficulty. So the game jumps into overdrive and forces you, as a player, to be more familiar with combos and fighting game tactics. I hate it when games force you to do things and play a certain way in order to complete them. Though sometimes frustrating, Injustice is a very fun fighting game and one, if not the only fighting game series that I will play.

Injustice is by the Developers of the well-known Mortal Kombat Series. You notice That to the Game every Second. If you wanted to have your favorite DC Heroes and Villains compete against each other, you definitely have Fun with Injustice. There are more than 30 Characters available, each with different Combos and "Fatalites." I didn't particularly like the Story of the Game, even if it has various exciting Approaches. The Graphics are slightly outdated, yet match the Game a lot of Fun.

Actually, the Game is a Dream: Woefully lovingly animated and thoughtful DC Herder-and-villains who, by all the Rules of Art, polish themselves in front of impressive interactive Backdrops the Fresco, all flavored with a Single-player campaign that--you believe It cauc-a really exciting Story tells and many other interesting Game Modes. I would like to recommend it if it were not for the PC port, which in some Respects leaves something to be desired. Biggest Shortcoming: Why to the Executioner is the Game so incredibly slow despite gamer PC in some cases?? It's to Despair!!

My Playthrough: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrETsLaVzpSh82Imtjpn3xJWPg9CHYK3t beginning here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSwH3XM3OFs Good Beat em up with serious issues. First I have to say: I only don't give it a recommendation because of the buggy port. Else I would say: yes. Pro A lot of the best heroes from the DC universe Nice cineastic story mode and additional single player missions A lot of moves and combos Interactive maps Con The Slow-motion-bug (because of the bad portation - see other reviews for infos). Even if you have a good pc... and even if you turn every graphic option on low... it's still slow.. Annoying elements which shall keep you playing (unlockable skins, avatars etc) Fairly hard game Not much diversity in multiplayer

Let me say first: I played this Game first on the Console and it's fantastic. I liked the graphics, the Story is great (they made their own Comic Series because the Story went down so well) and the Gameplay was classic. On the PC the Control is simply SCHEIßE, after the classic awsd control did not work I became unsafe but Fact Is that the control Keys are spread across the keyboard, to which "norm" (awsd ect.) was not Taken into Account at all, it is ghastly And I tried for a maximum of 15min. The worst PC version Of a Playstation Game I've ever experienced and I'll NOT BUY ONE Game from these Creators for the PC! (Again noted that Game itself is really good, but the PC Implementation I would not even accept gifted ...
