About

Western Germany, March 1964... The last Great War rages on. Madness at the front lines. Men butchering each other. War-torn Europe stands ripped apart by a front line that runs straight through the heart of Germany where American and Western European troops battle against enemy forces. An eternal war seemingly with no end in sight. Opposing forces mercilessly attack with unrelenting force, claiming small victories one day only to lose them the next.

As Lieutenant James Anderson you must infiltrate and destroy key enemy positions deep behind enemy lines. If successful, your mission could finally put a stop to the carnage and restore what everybody has long since forgotten about: peace.

Inspired by real-world events and elements from WWI, WWII and modern warfare, Iron Storm brings the carnage!

  • A cross between a shooter and an adventure game that has you asking… what would the 1960s have been like had WWI never ended.
  • The fighting isn’t just on the ground… watch as the stock market directly impacts the fight
  • Six non-linear levels that require you to visit certain sections repeatedly with multiple ways to complete objectives
  • Solve puzzles, use stealth and cunning skills and shoot it out in single and multiplayer action
  • Find yourself in the trenches of WWI with environmental elements like barbed wire fences, bunkers, mines, gas warfare and snipers
  • WWII comes to life as you use and battle automatic weapons, radar, tanks and flame throwers
  • Modern-day warfare is not missed though as helicopters, lasers, electronics and more will have you wishing you were back in your mama’s womb

Iron Storm reviews and comments

Poorly measured and artificial Difficulty, aimbot of enemies, very great shortage of ammunition (playing in normal) and other failures. The story may be interesting, but the gunplay makes it unbearable.

I recommend It a lot. To be a little game old, the truth is pretty good. The intelligence is pretty good. Good weapons and war maps and combat. The Third person mode is not my style, but the truth I recommend the game for those who are like me. Osea those who prefer to play this before the cod WW2.

Product received for free + Full HD + German Texts + shoot from the Hip, only with the Sniper is ranzooming possible + Price-small Bugs like the Characters get stuck or Graphic Are misrepresented Ganz solid action game from 2002. Clearly It is not perfect If you want to "baller" something, it's good enough.

Semi-good War Game I can't recommend the Game unfortunately. I played I played about 2.5 Hours and actually it was ok by then. The Graphics are ok, but there are very few Textures or objects. Hardly any Trees or Stones, let alone traces of Civilization. Gameplay is based on Classics and is typical of a Game of that time. However, I wonder what the Gun should be from the Beginning? You get this with 10 Shots pressed in your Hand, if you are smart you can quickly find a sniper with 5 Shot and then you have to go to War. WOh great, just I didn't get a single Shot for my Gun in those 2.5 Hours. However, each Weapon can be swapped for another type of the same type (pistol, rifle). Well and the Story is rather deficient to bad, although the Scenery appealed to me at the Beginning. Achja, what made me quit for good now? Well I got into a narrow Aisle in a Bunker and what are the Developers seriously posting there? A heavily armored Intermediate Opponent with seemingly massive Life and that on normal? Hey ok, would have been feasible but tried to dodge on a 1-meter-wide Aisle, especially that the Guy fires a New one about every half a second? It is also very annoying that Steam does not recognize the Game and even puts itself offline when you start it, any the first 10 seconds are detected. You can imagine how many times I had to start the Game to get the 5 Minutes for The review together ... Conclusion graphic is Mediocrity by then, the Developers were here seemingly a bit lazy. The Story is rather boring and seems quite illogical and Some Weapons and Passages just haven't really been thought through. For the Money, you can generally buy a newer Game or true Classics such as Half-Life 1 Did the Review help you? Then follow me in my Steam Group, where I write my Reviews as a Curator.
