About

Just Death is an “Open-World Sandbox Crime Game” set in procedurally generated cities. At its core gameplay mode - Just Death is my take on the Vigilante genre. You must rid the streets of “thugs and scum” using your antihero, playing in the first or third person. Due to the procedural nature of the environments, I can provide ample replayability with ease. The game has an Online open-city multiplayer mode, and 3 offline gameplay modes (Vigilante, Bank Heist, and Gang War).

Gameplay modes
Vigilante ( clean up the streets from scum and bad guys ).

Bank Heist ( rob the bank with friends, and escape the procedural cities ).

Gang War ( fight for control of the city against other gangs ).

You can also play online in a multiplayer open-city mode.

Procedural City Generation
The core feature of Just Death is the Procedurally Generated Cities. With a feature like this, I can provide the players with almost unlimited gameplay environments, by simply changing the “seed number” used to randomly generate the world, or by changing the simplistic input splines which form the “backbone” or basis for the city generation. See the image below for a visualization of the input and output my technology can produce. One issue that has plagued procedurally generated environments for the longest time is that they always look “boring”.

My solution was to simulate every layer of a city individually with as much detail as possible, to hopefully alleviate the repetition. The static environment details I procedurally generate include: buildings, skyscrapers, roads, sidewalks, intersections, crosswalks, elevated train tracks, alleyways, plazas, parks, fences, traffic lights, street lights, trees, fire hydrants, phone booths, newspaper dispensers, trash bins, dumpsters, garbage bags, paper debris, sewers, vents, utility access panels, and more!

Below are a set of real-time images from the Procedurally Generated Cities in Just Death.

Early Access Review Hello everyone bought me this Game because the Project sounds so great. We have 3 Offline Modes for selection In advance I have to say that only 2 Modes work Vigilante And Gang War are 2 Modis what to Make real fun at Heists is so that the Performance collapses because there are clearly too many Police officers and the Engine Code; performance collapses the heist the Fps number goes down to 2-5 Fps (Unplayable) The Online mode works flawlessly with me until I get in a Car ka which is going on but I think he should fix as soon as I get in a Car and drive off it's s o like you were Driving with a ping of 800-1000 Although I've been 30 ping but I've been running out of everything like lubricated * Komisch * Nothing the notwithstanding it's a Pre-alpha the Game is 66% finished * Well what I've played were not even 20% ^_^. Nevertheless, it gets a Thumbs up the Idea find I think good the Multiplayer is pure Sandbox fun I think as soon as the Editor arrives we will look forward to any amount of Community Mods. PS: The Dev is pretty active in forum and what else has been promised Every 1-2 Weeks there is a Giant Update. My Tip: Don't buy it for you, but prefers to wait until the performance fits until the Editor arrives and until the Multiplayer Fixt Will I think dan can't go wrong with this Product anymore.

Early Access Review I watched the Game yesterday and would like to give a little Feedback now. The Game "Just Death" is set in a City. There are Cars, different Player models and also different Weapons. The Game has an online and an Offline Mode. There are currently three different Modes: Vigilante There are six different Bikers to flig (as far as I know). You spawn in a "Gangster HQ" and buy a Gun first. Mostly, the Bikers run to one. If you kill them or shoot around, the Police also come (which is a Miracle). The AI from the Police is partly good, but also partly bad. For example, I cross 10 People, then get out and the Police just run by. Bank Heist In The "Bank Heist," you spawn in a Bank where the Police are already at the Door. Each of the 4 Members has an M16 in their Hands. I would have liked to be able to rob the Bank like you did in PayDay. In any Case, you then have to get to an escape van with your Companies. You can also simply grab a Car in front of the Bench and drive about 100 Meters to the Van and thus managed the Mission. That's why I'd maybe add a few more Features. Gang War Man starts in a Kind of "Camera" and can then select one of three Characters at the bottom left. There are currently three Groups: Mafia, Latinos and a few more Gangsters (?). If you die, choose the other until all three are used up. Each of the three Characters already has an initial weapon (E.g. M4) Then you can go in search of the enemy Areas and kill the enemies there. You can't take any Areas (as far as I know) FAZIT Because the Game is really still in an Alpha and only from ONE developer I really like it. You can't do that much at the moment, but if you want to support the developer you can buy the Game and I think the Game has Potential!
