About

KeeperRL is an ambitious dungeon simulator with roguelike and RPG elements. Take the role of an evil wizard and study the methods of black magic. Equip your minions and explore the world, murder innocent villagers and burn their homes. Build your dungeon, lay traps and prepare for an assault of angry heroes.

When you control your minions the game changes into a classic roguelike, with turn-based and very tactical combat. You can also play as an adventurer and assault dungeons made by you or other players.Dungeon management You will dig deep into the mountain and build dozens of rooms, corridors and traps. Your minions will train and produce weapons and armor. Prisoners will be tortured. You will research new technologies like alchemy, beast mutation and sorcery.Roguelike mechanics The world is simulated on a very detailed level. Creatures use equipment and consumable items. There are dozens of special items, spells, attributes and special attacks. You can cut off heads and limbs and blind or poison your enemies. If you're not careful with fire, you can burn an entire forest or even your own dungeon.Large, procedurally generated maps In your neighborhood you'll find castles, villages, other dungeons and special locations. Slay heroes, dragons and witches for their loot. Every game you play will be different.Online map sharing Download dungeons made by other players and explore them as an adventurer.

KeeperRL reviews and comments

Early Access Review KeeperRL is made for old Dungeon Keeper Fans! Game Mechanics KeeperRL resembles the good old Dungeon keeper but has another Goal, while in Dungeon Keeper or in some other clones like ' ' War for The Overworld ' level for level you build a new Dungeon to destroy an Enemy, orientates yourself DungeonRL rather at ' ' Dwarf Fortress ' ' or ' Rimworld ' ' in which you build up a Home World and spread bit by bit from there and then fight from there all The Enemies that the Randomly generated world gives. Difficulty KeeperRL ends at The death of the Character or At the Annihilation of all Enemies (Campaigns mode), dies the Keeper Is the Save Game Futsch. Due to the Hard degree of Difficulty and the Random Attacks on the Dungeon, which are triggered mainly by loss high losses, you have something to Bite here, but the lust is not lost in the loss of the Dungeon! Control At First it seems only a little clunky and complicated but after the first Hour Of play everything seems obvious except for a Couple who are probably based on the early access. Graphic The Graphic is kept in simple 2D but does not seem loveless. Whoever chews your way through it will reward me for a Vocal Atmosphere! Early Access The Beta produces all Basic Mechanics and until now seemed completely unbuckled to me and has Potential for more in any case! The Developer seems to be flat-headed In any case and keeps you up to date. Absolute recommendation for all Dungeon Keeper Fans and Build Simulation fans!

Early Access Review Great Game for People who Have always wanted their own Dungeon but are waiting in vain for Dungeon Keeper 3. The Graphics are not necessarily For everyone, but they have their Charm and can even be switched to the Symbolic Representation, which was customary for Friends of the Atari classics. I can't say much about the Soundtrack As I run my own Background music ^^ As far as gameplay is concerned, it takes a little to get started or learn how to proceed in order not to go after half an Hour from marauding Heroes, Dragons or To be overrun Bandits, but as soon as you are beyond this Point you have a Lot of Fun to create new Tunnels and Caves in The mountain and to spikken with traps for advancing Heroes, equip and train your Troops and move through surrounding Villages and Take residents to Massage or Catch. And yes, the Game may be Early Access, but it is not one of the games left in the Corner by the Devs Death, the Dev Active works with the Community and responds to Criticism and suggestions For Improvement, I have a Problem myself regarding The excecution of Prisoners in the Game was addressed and (for Steam ratios) got an appropriate Answer in the shortest possible time, which may mean something if you take this into account in the behavior of many other Devs. In addition, big and small Content updates come Regularly, I am already looking forward to the announced Choice of game Character:) (Currently only Warlock). For me, the only real Shortcoming is that you don't (yet) have an impact on the Level Generator, a few Settings options like Number and Type of Enemy Factions would be nice. By and large, the Game is Recommended for any Fan of Dungeons and Build-up Games.
