About

KickBeat is a martial-arts inspired rhythm game developed by Zen Studios. The game draws massive inspiration from the Dance Dance Revolution series and Gitaroo Man.

Plot

All the music in the world got stolen. Only the player can recover the music by using the last 18 tracks that were saved by humanity.

Gameplay

Just like in Dance Dance Revolution, the gameplay of KickBeat relies on the player pushing one out for four prompted buttons at the right time. Enemies come at the player from four directions, and by pressing the buttons, the player character attacks them in the right direction. All the action corresponds with the beat of a current playing song. By pressing the correct buttons, the players create a unique fight scene.

Despite having its own soundtrack, the players can import their own music into the game, just like in Audiosurf. There are 11 artists with 24 songs featured in the Special Edition of the game, with Celldweller, Pendulum, and Styles of Beyond featured in it.

The game is also inspired by the classic Hong Kong Kung Fu flicks, with all the character animations being hand-drawn to ensure the best quality possible. To focus the player's attention on the on-screen action, the developers got rid of action prompts and replaced them with well-made 3D characters.

The game makes really fun. A few more songs would have been really great but you can clean your own songs. Higher levels are also well hard. So whoever stands on Music and fight is right here.

Kick Beat has offered me an incredible number of beautiful Hours!! As a passionate Musician and rhythm fanatic, I play a lot of Rhythm games-and I prefer to! In Kick Beat, it should be emphasized immediately that the Clicking with the Rhythm is absolutely Consistent-an absolute Must, so that a Rhythm Game is also fun or also challenging and "easy" to master on high Difficulty (if you can virtually master with the Song " Swings "). The selected Songs are-so I have to mention this-exactly my Taste in music, so I was absolutely thrilled with them from the Beginning (Pendulum, Rob Zombie, In Flames, Marylin Manson ... Wow!). The Techno Songs (which in the Beat are relatively ... Bored are ... But you absolutely need to be able to catch up in Survival mode * grins *) Pro: + Rhythmus/Click perfectly matching + Selected Music + Story is Fun, but is actually incidental ... + Various Stages + Kung Fu Feeling During the Songs Gives the Right "Kick" + Dynamic Camera with special Passages-goes from:D + Sch. Modes: Story, Free Mode, Survival Mode, Own Songs,.. + Four Difficulty levels (the last of which is best in terms of rhythm/clicking is of course;)) + Rewards depending on The Number of points (new Characters or "skins," Clothes for free Mode) + songs will not "annoy" no matter how many times you have played them-> Long-term fun Check:-Playing Your Own songs doesn't make much Sense, as it doesn't necessarily match the Rhythm (You could have done an editor theroretically where you put the Opponents yourself, then surely that would be a great Option-but so I only used them for Success) Anm Exterate: Since it has been said in many Reviews that the Game often crashes ... At 50 + Hours the Game crashed with me only once and that was more out of Own Debt (desert Desktop jumping and changing Options during the Song, etc ...) Everything in one, for me, it's the best Rhyhtmus game I've ever played. I'll keep playing it!! :-) Thank you for this great Experience!
