You may know the stories of the old gods of Japan.

The legends are pretty well known.

This is not one of those legends. Think of it as an...

alternative mythology. Our story begins with Susano'o, exiled from the

Celestial Realm for the heinous acts he committed

against his siblings. Susano'o became very angry

with his siblings and sought to erase them from

the history of mortals, thereby draining them of their

power and leaving himself as the sole god to be acknowledged by the mortals.

And thus, the mortals forgot the existence of the gods.

Many lost their former power,

and even more their lives.

Our story begins at a mysterious shrine,

with six lucky survivors.
