Text Adventure games are text based games where players can control a character via text commands. You'll be moving through different locations, interacting with people and objects and solving puzzles in a world where you can do anything you want! (Well, there are things you can't do, but you can try at least.) Just type in a command like EXAMINE RUNES, GET LADDER, CAST SPELL or JUMP, then press Enter and see what happens.  Remember to read every detail carefully, and be creative and try out different commands to solve puzzles.

TALP

TALP stands for Text Adventure Literacy Project. This challenges authors to teach kids and beginners to play text adventure games using the game itself , and this game was created for that purpose. At the beginning, the tutorial guides the player through the controls and some puzzles, and later it leaves them on their own to try different commands and have fun.

This game was made for the Text Adventure Literacy Jam - 2022.
