As one of the fabled Dark Crusaders, journey through both the realms of the living and the dead in this expansive RPG experience, featuring colossal boss battles, fast challenging combat, thrilling character encounters, and deep, immersive storytelling. Will your legend be one of light… or one of darkness?

Lords of the Fallen reviews and comments

I had quite a bit of fun with it though they should have sorted out the fps drops. 95% of the time the game ran great. I like the whole Umbral element, especially how it was frequently a second chance.

Enjoyment: 8/10
Recommendation: If you're a souls-like fan
[6/10] Lords of the Fallen is a decent title, but it unfortunately isn't what it could have been. The game is good, but there are a lot of elements here that ruin the fun and are off-putting. Why did the developers give us the ability to develop our character and choose our equipment, when the enemies will be stronger in a moment anyway, and we don't feel any increase in strength? Why wasn't it done like in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, where we didn't have equipment, but only various kinds of enhancements and tools to make the game easier? I don't know, and I'll be honest, I don't like it. Anyway, it gets even worse later on, because enemies that were bosses suddenly become adds to other bosses, so we often fight during such encounters with several other enemies, and even if we manage to beat some difficult boss after a long and tiring battle, it may turn out that he has a second phase. We spend too much time on repetitive battles. I can recommend Lords of the Fallen to hardened fans of Soulslike games, and to no one else really. The game is very difficult, and in an unfair way, when ordinary enemies become stronger faster than our hero can develop.

Combat felt off and unbalanced. I preferred "Lies of P".
